Console needs buff/debuff popups

Pc has add-ons for buffs and debuffs to pop up on screen, So I'm wondering is it really that hard to just implement it into the game?
Its a pain in the ass on console to keep track if you're overlapping buffs and if something in a dungeon debuffs you and you dont even know it. Something else I feel that would honestly be great is since PC has add-ons for skyshards and lorebooks what about adding in something for 1500-2000 crowns to show all skyshards and lorebooks on the map for all characters??

I just feel console is so much harder and not fair compared to pc when its things I feel they could easily implemented by ZOS.

Leave me y'alls opinions below.

Yea but if they implemented the map marker it would be beneficial to ZOS and would be the players choice, People wanna know where it is and spend less time grinding and ZOS gets money for it, If they dont wanna spend the money they spend more time finding it all. Idk thats just my opinion

The ultimate counter is already hard to read if you're sitting a few meters away from your console/TV and it wouldn't help you anyway with buffs from your backbar ...

Yes to the skyshard and lorebook marker!! It would be great if it marked them account wide as they are discovered on any character. Would add a nice sense of completion too not to mention it being a solid money spinner for the devs.

As for the buff timer, I don't want it personnally. I like using the visual animations, when the lag isn't so bad, I would much rather the immersive feel of looking at my character and enemies character instead of staring at little boxes all down the side of my screen. And you can't say, "just don't use them" because I would be putting myself at a massive disadvantage not using them, making me feel forced into stuffing tons of indicators all over my screen!!

I understand what you mean from that perspective, But sometimes in a fight like pvp or even a dungeon/trials you're not down looking to see the animation, Depending on the buff there is no animation for the buff after it's cast, But I mean even for abilities like rally or if an ability activates savagery or heroism or whatever the case may be

Wouldn't even need a timer as long as maybe its like a box showing the buff or if we have to learn the icons for the certain buffs or know the ability icon maybe its fully lit when you first cast it or it activates and as the timer runs down the color just slowly fades away like its ticking away into like black and white or just an empty box then when the buff or ability ends the box just completely disappears

Doesn't even really be a timer, Just a box with the buff if we have to learn what they look like ourselves or if it shows the actual ability symbol itself just be full colored when its first cast or the buff is applied to you then the color just slowly fades/ticks away like if its a timer just ticking away.

I agree. In group content there really isn't a great way to see what is debuffing you or members of your group.

No, I do not think little arrows on a resource bar or an effect obscured by three other effects is enough.

Little icons that are an option to turn off would be just super, thanks.

Can be when it comes to templars buffs or something like rally, or grim focus from nightblade or whatever else plus its just nice to when they are gonna end so you can get a chance to reapply if needed before a fight or whatever else in pvp, Go hide behind a rock and recast or something, And tbh when in the moment you're not looking at your character for glowing purple hands or your weapon glowing from something, You're busy looking at your enemies health or where they are going. At least an option to toggle it on and off would be great

I just dont understand why basically every other mmorpg does it but ESO doesnt and these other games are even more skill based and more technical. Just about everyone on pc uses the add-ons for it and I find it very unfair for console players

Don't expect buff trackers. If they add buff trackers to the UI I will literally *** brix. Even though I think it's ridiculous they don't have them, there's already been back and forth banter as to whether they belong in ESO. Obviously ZOS thinks they don't and to change their minds 2 years later would just be the most embarrassing update to the game.

It was never a matter of development time. It's that they want to keep the classic TES players happy and discourage hardcore players from pushing the game to its limits because the game is actually imba af.

Just to give you another example. Before release there was a decision made to hide all API data from users so addons such as LUI or FTC would not be able to exist. There was a lot of heat on the subject. The decision was reversed, but It was the initial '*** you' from ZOS to all competitive players. Luckily we had Tamriel Foundry's founder Atropos and Entropy Rising, a(1st) competitive guild, beta testing for ZOS. If it wasn't for their presence we could be playing a much worse ESO right now.

As far as Skyshard/Lorebook hunting goes there are plenty of online maps you could pull up to locate them.
