In all seriousness I've gotta admit that the maintenance thing is really becoming a drag. Only been playing a month or so now but finding a lot of the time I can't play due to the maintenance. It's making me sad! It's such a great game but the downtime is a little frustrating.
The only good thing that all this maintenance has done is made me come to the forums and give insightful comments or listen to sage advice. That and see some of the batguano polls that people come up with. Being in GMT+12 is suffering.
What I dislike about the maintenance in general though is that it seems that every single maintenance is 5-6 hours.1 -

I'm Australian and the timing is the worst. Prime playing hours, 6pm to whenever it finishes. Guess I need to start organising my social life based on the maintenance schedule!

Something was very wrong last night as loading screens got longer and longer, then couldn't login. WeyounTM✭✭✭✭I agree that the usually long maintenance times are a pain. And therefore I am grateful that Elder Scrolls Legends seems to run on a different set of servers . I created an acount a few days ago and having a lot of fun. For someone who loves the Elder Scrolls universe it is worth a look. And I finally can get to ignore Hearthstone now... The ENTIRE economy of ESO revolves around one mechanic: the Kiosk flipping time. It used to be that the bids closed at 5 minutes to 8 Eastern, flip happened at 8 Eastern, and then servers went down for maintenance. During the winter, there was an extra hour to run around looking for a stall if you happened to lose. While it isn't ideal to have maintenance happen directly AFTER the kiosk flips, it is SO MUCH BETTER than having your maintenance time DIRECTLY in conflict with this one mechanic.
Please ZOS: Get your *** together. This new maintenance time, and its direct conflict with the Kiosk mechanic on the PC/NA server is INSANE. Whoever thought this was a good idea should be taken out back and flogged.
For the love of The Eight: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE move the maintenance time back to 8 AM Eastern on Monday. Or 8:15 Eastern. Or any day but Monday. OR ANYTHING OTHER THAN THIS CRAP IT CURRENTLY IS.Edited by sylviermoone on August 8, 2016 1:35PMCo-GM, Angry Unicorn Traders: PC/NA

The EU server had far more downtime in the past month than the NA did. kliebor✭✭Once again, I ask hopefully can we get an actual ETA.... in the afternoon is not only frustratingly vague it also means loss of another full day for what is supposed to be routine maintenance.
If routine maint takes more than 6 hours you have a serious problem in your environment.
Maybe stop adding new things until you figure out how to maintain your servers reliably.7 -

How it went down at anniversary cake earlier than it was planned, and then how it wouldn't come back after people discovered ESO+ Survey Map exploit. That's only first two things that came to my mind just now.3
