Parts of it drag on, but I though the Orsinium storyline was very good. And you will get titles and costumes for completing it. Not sure if that qualifies as "worth it" to do.

I also don't quite understand how the quests can be both hard and boring. Can you elaborate?

Ok so the parts I find boring is running through caves, back and forth talking to people and then killing something. Another thing I find boring is all the mobs you have to kill. I personally don't like it. Now because there's so many mobs that's what makes it hard and than also I keep getting lost.

Of all the DLC, Orsinium has the most questing. It also has tons, and I mean TONS of mat nodes. If you are looking to get one DLC and are looking for the greatest amount of solo-able game play, Orsinium is the one I would recommend.

Despite Orsinium's performance issues on Xbone, I have to say that it's pretty great. I've enjoyed the NPCs, the location designs, the music, and the quests. Not to mention the craftable sets it adds. Very solid entertainment value.

I find the default vanilla quest experience to be really boring. Every quest is like, go to an area, click four things while fighting a ton of mobs in this area, and then talk to an NPC. Turn in the quest for a follow up quest where we move to a different area to fight through a bunch of stuff to click four things.

I found the Orsinium DLC quests to be a lot more interesting and varied. I really enjoyed learning about orcish lore and seeing various other cultures interact with them. I loved the quest where you trade four Nordish imported items for four orcish delicacies for that one nord that wants to woo an orc.

3 skill points for this reason alone I consider all the main story line quests worth it and a pretty decent costume.

Edit: Compared to costume a just paid $20 for looks like complete s*^t his costume is actually glorious with details and textures.

I just started orsinium and noticed there is a lot of lag on my Vishera architect cpu.. About as bad as hewbanes used to be unoptimized but it's like that nearly everywhere.

I wish I could enjoy the storyline, I've done many of the quests, but cannot turn in anything that requires me to go to the main city.

My toon gets stuck in Coldharbor until the Prophet (ZOS) sends it to Auridon

I do hate the part where you creep in slow motion through the frozen snow and avoid avalanches. It's a slow, annoying phase that doesn't add anything to the story. It wouldn't be so bad if it were much, much shorter.

In general, as a questline, you'll find parts that are better than others, as well some you'll want to smash your keyboard with your forehead. But this is normal for a questline.

IMHO, Orsinium questline is the only one that really worth, except for the Main Quest, of course, and Imperial City, if you can pay attention without being killed by another player, because the chipmunks of ZOS designed a PvE questline in a PvP zone. Veeeeeery smart.

    Hard and boring?

Exactly the opposite of my experience. Best DLC yet IMO.

As someone who is as well not that fond of questing, I would suggest the following:

You own that DLC now, so there is no hurry to do the content. Just explore if you feel like exploring, and quest when you feel like questing, or harvest if you feel like harvesting. Forcing yourself to rush through the quests is counter-productive in your and my case - we have to take it slow, one quest at a time when in the mood for doing it - there is no rush, just enjoy.

The zone is battle-leveled - there is something to know with it - eat food or drink beverages when you are there - not before you go to the DLC zone - because the effect, which is already active on you, will not scale up - so don't forget about this fact.

Wrothgar is by far the best DLC when you look at the storyline and design. TG and DB are pretty much just "meh". Did TG in a day and havent bothered to finnish DB yet, thoose was just a disappointment to me.

Yea I thought orainium quest line was one of the most fun. I can't remember all the good stuff you can get but I do remember there are quite a few very nice recipes as rewards
You can also get the hero of wrothgar title and 3 bear costumes if you do everything

Nobody have mention that there is also veteran Mealstrom Arena (solo), Old Orsinium and Rkindaleft dungeons. Daily quests (world bosses) which give you set items and special recipes from doing quests.

There are craft station for Julianos set among other that is also useful if you want to craft your own set for magicka buils.

So it is a bit more then just access to different quest lines when you buy Orsinium that you might want to take into consideration. It is fairly large map and you gain good XP from killing things there...so it is good zone to level up your characters as you will not need to look long for things to kill.

I hate questing too, and if it weren't for Maelstrom and crafting writs, I'd get no use out of Orsinium. If I may ask, why did you buy a questing-heavy DLC if you hate questing?

I wish all the DLCs gave as good value as Wrothgar with large new area to explore and harvest, a solid (IMHO) quest line and several dailies that give CP and the occasional valuable reward on top of the guaranteed run-of-the-mill rewards. And for the challenge seeker/build tester the VMA. But is is decidedly aimed for players who love/like/tolerate RPG and PVE.

I find this an interesting question and I wonder if it would be useful for some players (new to the game or those who just don't come to the forums at all) for ZOS to label expansions somehow as [PVE/Questing] [PVE/Dungeons] [PVP] or some such so that folk can tell at a glance what the expac features mostly and can more easily choose to buy what fits their play style.

I am a proponent of people doing their research, but I also know that not everyone thinks to (or wants to) read the forums.
