On the actual topic, dlc doesn't come for 2 weeks for me im stockpiling those keys. Need me a velidreth shoulder.

I used about 100 keys, and... it was a bloodbath. Training and Prosperous rained down upon my world like angry meteors.

I used 30 gold keys and got 25 training/prosperous Maw of infernal...

Not a single new shoulder.

The sheer anxiety I had watching this

Apart of me wishes we could change the trait ourselves somehow, but I guess by doing that it'll make the game too easy and a little pointless. Working for the reward is much better.

Do you buy or check out The Golden vendor in Cyrodiil? Or would you rather run the dungeon until you get exactly what you need?

Dude 400 keys...that's amazing haha! But yeah, Impen is still only from The Golden. I bet you got some amazing shoulders from 400 keys tho!

Yeah I've thought about that too, but I kinda like the grind. The new Bind on Pickup changes now make it SO much easier for people to get the helms they want which is reallllly nice.

Wow, I had no idea you get a monster helm from every gold key. Was it always this way?

I thought most of the time you would get a piece of that undaunted bastion or undaunted infiltrator crap set and only rarely monster helm.

I think they completely removed those undaunted sets cause I haven't seen them drop from chests in a LONG time. And yeah, Gold Key is 100% a monster shoulder now.

90% of the time I get Maw of the Infernal or Bogdan in Sturdy, Training or Prosperous ffs.
I have 7 Chars with undaunted lvl 9 and only have 4 skoria Shoulders in bad traits. God dammit

Remove prosperous and training and add impenetrable. those two traits are cancerous.

I used 2x that and got *** ALL. Literally not a single devines. Then I did 32 runs of trials and got 0/9 of the items I want, WAIT THATS NOT ALL, I also did not see a single person in those 32 runs get anything I wanted thus couldnt even trade for them or buy them.

Moral of the story, I am done farming *** in this game because lol I like not wasting time.

In Update 12 they will be removing Training and Prosperous from end game drops and they'll be putting Impen back in. I wish they had done it for Update 11, but at least it's coming.

I am dreading opening mine, glad I have the banker since I have over 200 keys to open up and keep getting more. I mean to use them but keep forgetting or asked to help in dungeons trials or pledges. I figure I will at least get some mats that I can turn around and sell.

I mean if you don't NEED any new shoulders or the new sets you can save them till Update 12 and you'll know you wont get and Prosperous or Training since they're taking those traits out for end game content in Update 12. Otherwise I'd say with 200 keys you have a good chance of getting some solid shoulders

How did you calculate that 0.39 % chance of a specific shoulder Chimneyswift ? Not that it matters much because it seems there is no true random generator in those drops . For 252 possible shoulders and 52 keys I find the chance to not have the desired shoulder to be 81.3 % +- so 18.7% to find the desired shoulder.

So to get that number I took 1 divided by 252. I was basically saying that for every 1 key, the chance of that 1 key giving me what I want is 0.39%.

Yeah the chances for all keys would be higher, but because it's individual it's still only 0.39% per 1 key haha

I think I've only ever earned about five keys the entire time I've played... I just recently got my first Monster set shoulders.

It was a Training trait.
