honestly i would be happy with 6months of no new content as long as they fixed the game issues ( crashes and lag ).
    game is plenty fun

You took all 3 factions in 3 weeks.? o.0

Haaa.. I didn't think it was necessary to actually specify that "all the side and main quests" are with the PvE and main story part of the game. I think it can be implied..

Now, now.. I can side with the OP on this a bit. What is this now.. my third or fourth month on ESO, hmmm. I've completed all the side and main quests within the first 3 weeks and then signed up for the monthly sub to get Wrothgar and the other 2 DLCs. I pretty much completed all the quests in Wrothgar and Hew's Bane within a week. So, for the last couple or few months, I've pretty much just been redoing all dailies, dolmens, dungeons, grinding during enlightenments, harvesting ores, mats and picking treasure chests over and over again for the XP to level up on CP. It has become a bit of a monotonous journey for me doing the same things over and over again everyday. Even though DB came about and took the monotony away for a few days or so, but the dailies in the Gold Coast have since been included in my daily grinds.

I guess what's keeping me around and keeps me going is my hunt to reach 501 CP. It's has been a long road coming from CP 1 to 450 where I am currently at now, and of course 51 more CPs to go. I'm not sure what the heck I'm going to do when I finally reach 501.. probably will no longer be interested in the daily grinds because I wouldn't need the XP any longer.. unless, the CP will be raised, as some are suggesting. Plus, it will be another 4-5 years until the next full ESO game comes out. Maybe finally my disinterest with PvP may go away, and that would be the thing to do for a while until the next DLC or wonders are released.

You're keen. It took me about 2 years to finish the story part of the game and I've still not finished TG despite getting it the day it came out - I mix up the story and the PVP/MA and I'm a bit rubbish. My current/only character since deleting old ones is level 36 and has about 5 days of game time. That is over 3-4 months

Very well.. I should've been more specific.. not to include the ones in Cyrodiil, if that's what you mean by the three factions. I guess I consider Cyrodiil not to be part of the main or side quests of the normal PvE areas. I would consider Cyrodiil not to be in that normal category because it involves PvP. During my initial submersion into ESO, I had ventured into Cyrodiil to do the PvE quests, but kept on running into players from the other factions and then getting my butt stomped on. So, I haven't gone back into Cyrodiil yet, but I think it's about time soon to head back there and redo the quests and maybe join in the fray, since I'm bit more powerful now.

We seem to be speaking way past each other here.. Not speaking about Cyrodill  I mean have you done all Ebonheart Pact quests, Daggerfall Covenant quests and Aldmeri Dominion quests.. Those are the 3 factions.. If you have done all those in 3 weeks, you simply have too much spare time, in which case, the game is not to blame

This seems directed towards me.. Ok.. I have a Master's and working on another and possibly going into a Phd program, and I currently own a small business which I have a very good and capable manager running it.. which gives me a bit more time to enjoy this ESO for awhile which I am currently addicted to. (My manager and crew doesn't know, though. Lol!)

There is tons of content. I just reached CP160 this morning and I still haven't completed all the quests and dungeons in all of the zones. I have only scratched the surface on PVP. I don't understand how the OP can be crying about lack of content in this game.

Like solo elder scrolls games there is so much more to do then the main quest. Go out into the world and start clearing the caves. You get more quests which will in turn lead you to more quests.

Ahhh.. ok, now we are understanding each other. Yes, done all the quests in those 3 factions. I received Cadwell's gold experience and achievement. I can't say really about the spare time.. more with not enough sleep than anything. Lol! I guess I can say I'm the type that if you get focused on something, you're determined to see it through and get it done. So, I guess I became focused and determined to reach this 501 CP. My recent or last girlfriend did left me for all these times I've been spending on ESO, for crying out loud. Oh well, I'm sure she'll be back one of these days.. or what's that saying goes, there are plenty of fishes in the sea. Yes, yes, I am a poor sorry excuse of a companion. I'm working on it, though. Lol! Oh yeah, I'm not blaming the game. If any.. yes, it's surely would be me.

Have you done every single thing in the game? And gotten every possible achievement? Have you maxed out all your skill-lines? Have you helped another player level up? Or played through the game again with a different class to see how they're effective?

ESO is just to easy honestly.. I mean we have post on these very forums from people asking for the ability to self nerf themselves to make the game more interesting and more of a challenge...

It also suffers from not knowing exactly what it wants to be.. Is it a single player RPG or is it a MMO?

There is very little about ESO that requires a group and absolutely non of the content requires a group of skilled players. All of ESOs content even the "end game" group content is simply a button smashing zurg blob!

I cannot think of anything in ESO that requires a group to use mechanics and teamwork like other MMO's.

I understand that for some people this is great news, but for the longevity of ESO as a MMO it is a horrible thing.

The framework of a great MMO is there, but ESO is just to easy and if anything it is a "Babies First MMO"..
I had hoped for so much more than a single player Skyrim with friends kinda game, but this is exactly what we have.

Will I continue to play it? Sure at least until Xbox one gets FFXIV or another MMO ports to console at least..

Might even head back to NW if things get to easy around ESO.. I mean heck NW has its flaws, but at least the content requires some challenge lol. AND TEAMWORK!

Fully disagree. The game has huge amounts of content, all of varying difficulty, and they are always working on adding more so there's really nothing to be concerned about. If you're that bored with it, well maybe you need to play something else for a while to change it up.

Play some other games and give this one a rest of about 3 or 4 months, that's what I do. This way you won't feel burned out with Elder Scrolls Online. MMOs can get boring after playing them for a long time non stop.

I am guessing you are in a group that has been farming Veteran Maw of Lorkaj and such?

Not everyone is at that level yet. In fact, a very tiny percentage of the player base can do that.

I do understand your frustration with wanting a bigger challenge. Unfortunately, the business case is in creating more content for the larger percentages of the player base, rather than the top 0.1%, and so unfortunately I don't think the Maw will find an even tougher cousin for a while yet.

If you are looking for a bigger challenge, you could try bringing in some people new to the content you run, and you will start to see the requirements for coordination and communication again, and get some of the challenge back. :)

I guess you are right there on some points, but honestly every MMO needs some kind of difficulty curve that adjust to the player and at the same time requires the players to adjust to achieve goals to keep the player engaged and wanting to continue playing.

Some MMO's use a "Gear Check" such as WOW.. Others use a "player skill" check and a "gear check" such as RIFT with its very in depth mechanics for every boss in each dungeon being different.

In ESO as long as you can ZURG and smash a button you can run all content without breaking a sweat..

Over the years Ive come to the conclusion that playing an MMO like its your second job is not the way to go. Sure at first its awesome to sink all your free time into it but then you end up either with nothing to do within 2-3 months or you get to the point youre so tired of it that logging in becomes a chore. The only MMO that you can play for 2-5 years like an obsessed no-lifer is your first one. After you burn out on that, your tolerance for the genre in general is significantly lower and the novelty value of a new title runs out much faster.
