    Yes Remove Racial Passives and Let Players Manually Choose Passives
    Racial passives that effect stats in any MMO is a bad idea. They had a chance to just eliminate it altogether here.

    If I was cynical, I would think the only reason ZOS still has them in game is to make money on cash shop to change your race. Or to entice people to keep playing the game by rerolling.

    The fluff passives like less fall damage or whatever are fine. especially if they tie into lore. They should have eliminated all the +% stats/regen, etc.

    We already have multiple ways of configuring your character stats: mundus stones, champion points, gear/enchants. There is no reason to give a statistical edge to certain builds based on race. I realize ESO lore is pretty racist, but we don't need to perpetuate that. :)

    ZOS - show that "Play Your Way" isn't just a catchy slogan, but it is a guiding principle to your design decisions. racial passives don't fall into keeping a fair and open system.

    This was a golden opportunity for ZOS to just scrap racial passives and make the game actually PLAY YOUR WAY... Was.

    Part of the problem with racial passives is that some of us rolled characters when soft caps were a thing... before any racial passive changes. Now some races passives have changed beyond all recognition and the removal of soft caps has made max resource passive very powerful in a way they simply weren't before.

    Personally I think zos need to completely revamp all races and give a free race and name change token for each character for a limited time.

    Which is kinda what they are doing... unfortunately they seem to be very bad at balancing the races.

    Racials aren't the problem the problem comes from soft caps just going it's caused damage to rise high enough that Tanks feel useless and Mechanics can go screw itself and it eventually had the damage received added to the Battle Spirit buff in Cyrodiil.
    Hard caps removed 1.6
    "30% more damage reduction" to battle spirit 2.1 IC release.
