Can't convert Viceous Death swords to Imperial style

Why can't we convert VD and other cyrodiil sets to imperial style? Isn't that part of why we paid that extra money for Imperial Edition?
It matters because I want to run dual wielding swords on both bars, and if the swords look exactly the same, there is no visual que to let me know which bar I'm on. Am I missing something, or do we not have the ability to change VD, transmutation etc. set pieces to Imperial style?

✭✭✭✭✭Not all Dropped Sets can be transformed to Imperial. Reason, is they use a unique style that can not have base Racial Styles applied.
This is not unique to the new sets, there have been dropped set items since game launch that can not be converted.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

✭✭✭✭✭It's really quite annoying that this restriction even exists.
Even more so that it's inconsistent.
For example, you can convert the Xivkyn sets from WGT/ICP (e.g., SPC) into Imperial. But you can't convert items from the Nightshade set from Argonian (blech) into Imperial. Most dropped sets can't be converted, and sets like SPC are the exception rather than the rule, unfortunately.
