I don't get it, for being the good guy, I just literally (sorry for going to straight forward), ***-ed up my character?

Now I lost 2 skill points that as a new player, I really REALLY need, how is that fair?

There is no other way to revert the change either, what the hell?

You should really add some "mini quest" or mail from her that give us some item that grant us x2 skill points, its only fair.

I've never expected something so ironic from ZOS, seriously, such a long chain quest that should be "legendary", yet with 0 reward.

It's 2 points... Unless you want every active and passive skill in the game active and maxed out respectively those 2 skill points mean nothing.

I opt to save her every time, I do not regret that decision.

I have 326 Skill Points on my main, with about 10 not allocated cuz I don't know what to do with them...

And I was the good guy on all my chars, I saved Valaste cuz good ol' Shalidor deserves a bit of happiness after getting screwed over by Sheogorath for so long

This is exactly why ESO is great, this forces you to literally make the choice between power and goodness. In the end it pretty much smooths out either way but at the moment of choosing its really tough to turn down the skill points.

if i can kill an innocent crab, i have no prob letting her go insane, you lose by saving her and you gain by letting her be his pet.. if it had an impact on main story id save her.. plus the mages guild quest line was rather dul, didnt care much for her to begin with.. sheograth was funny tho.

I saved her, by letting Uncle Sheo take care of her, she is much happier with her books & the butterflies than she ever would of been in the guild!

Shalidor knew the books were messing with her mental stability & forced her to continue reading them... cause he wanted his island back! why? because it means his name will live on for ever! hes an egotistical bully, so i saved valste by dending her as far away from shalidor as i could!

I had absolutely no problem leaving her with Sheo. She send me to deal with Sheo myself on all those silly quests, or rather shadow of what Sheo should be and she goes mad just from reading the books i not only got her but read myself? She deserves nothing else as mockery of mages guild leader. And frankly i would gladly add Shalidor to her for leaving the island completely unused in later game.

Did you know, if you let loose a v16 mudcrab in Stonefalls, it will instagib every living soul, including "seasoned" soldiers (minus the guards obviously and other high lvl players) - now that's a scary thought. Insane mudcrabs from hell giving balreth a run for his money.

(Yes, I had to grind all these to v16)

I always played the good guy. In my new main char I gave Valaste to Uncle Sheo.

Sometimes I feel bad for it. I endorse the feeling of having a way to bring her back.

    This exactly.
Valaste is my characters' friend. Not even my "evil" character would go as far as giving her to Sheogorath. I just wish ZOS gave us the dialogue option "You are wrong, Valaste. I am your friend" when she says she has no friends.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

Those two skill points are not a big deal in the larger scheme of things. When you complete all alliance zones, grab all skyshards, do everything in all the DLCs and raise up your alliance rank in Pvp, you see that there is a plethora of skill points available. First two characters I gave over to Sheo, on one of my characters I didn't, it was all good for that one because I just go skyshard hunting or complete main story quest lines to gain a skill point. Or grind in pvp and gaining new ranks always gives you a skill point too.

I think i remember ZOS someone from ZOS stating that you can make up the missing skill points somewhere else, so no matter what you do, you have the same amount of skill points available to you

Another place you can drop a skill point is when you first arrive in Cyrodiil @ level 10, you get the choice to do the siege training or skip it & go see the General. IF you do the siege training you get an extra skill point.

    Consequences! I like them.

That would likely be due to it giving Alliance Rank xp, but I could be mistaken about it doing so.

    It is legendary.

It demonstrates how much you value your morality

    Or don't
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

There is no shortage of skill points. Fret not. You will reach a point when you have extra skill points just sitting there, with nothing left to spend them on. Just push on. It will be okay.
