New DSA Master Weapons

i think they are more like "APPRENTICE" than the MASTER weapons compared to MSA weapons they need to make changes on them... THAT IS MY IDEA i dont spend time to farm there for these items

    The resto staff looks really good. That means spamming healing springs would give stamina to group members right?

    Daggers, two-handed sword and destro staff definitely need a buff.
    Resto and one-handed sword are better than ones from vMA tho.

    I'll be using almost all of thsee weapons when I get them. Most of them aren't as good as maelstrom, but I don't have maelstrom weapons so an it's an upgrade. (I am stormprooof, I just don't like farming the arena). Also, if every DSA weapon was better there wouldn't be a reason to do Maelstrom or buy the dlc

    I like that Master's Bow though.

    That Greatsword though, I actually spam Brawler in PvE (gotta love that skill), if only it was a lil' bit stronger...

    Tank sword, definitely. Resto staff, possibly depending on your group makeup. Pretty sure maelstrom will still be BIS for dps weapons though.

    Sword is best in slot for tanks and super good for PvP too.

    Hmm from PvE Perspective the only Weapon that seems useful to me is the Resto. Sword is ok but I rather use Sets to buff the group as a tank.
    I understand that they shouldn't be better than vMA Weapons, but the DPS Weapons are just completed garbage.
    Any of these will be outperformed by a simple Damage Enchant (+348 Weapon Damage).
    To keep them somehow viable, Dagger and Staff should be about 2k/Tick, 2Hander around 3-4k on cleave and the Bow at least 600 Weapon Damage. Believe me, vMA Bow is still a lot stronger, people don't realize how OP that thing is.

    All ZOS did was make them vr16 and youre still moaning.
    Well DONT use them. I will and will slaughter your ass in pvp with them too.

    1000 extra mag or stam on all of them WITH an buff to an ability. Seriously wtf more do you want?

    At least I won't feel obligated to farm these. They are pretty weak for the most part.

    the Resto staff allows non-Templars to be effective healers as they can give stamina back without the need for shards

    250 stamina is nothing. Pointless even. Much more effective way of gaining stamina back in trials for instance is to have one stamplar running repentance only for massive boosts over small single ones. That way the healer stays back and doesn't have to do it and no scrapping over a single shard.

    Exactly.

    The Enchants look almost the same as I remember them.
    And there was no word of those being reintroduced I think.

    Sure they said old Sets get upscaled to CP160 and a list of all sets affected.
    And in that list, there was no Master Weapons mentioned, too.

    I guess they did a lazy job and just made them CP160, without adjusting the Unique Enchants.

    What? Half of these are better than maelstrom, at least for pvp. you go ahead and try killing a stam dk with masters sword, spamming la, ransack, bash. Hint; you will fail

    I think the point is perhaps not for trials... there will always be a Templar or two by the law of averages in there to able to gift stamina to the raid in various ways...

    I think its particularly good for the classes that have no way of giving stamina to people... EG Sorc healers... this makes them (Somewhat) viable in general 4 man content.

    Healing springs can be spammed for days...... and it'll help keep them topped up... something which at the moment they can't do.

    You'd give them a couple of k stamina in just a few seconds very easily... that's not pointless at all. & better than whats available now where its Templar or bust for stam return to others.

    I use the master's resto over shards on my templar because that means I never stop healing

    I use the master's bow over Maelstrom bow in part because I have yet to get that elusive beauty, and even more so because poison inject > rearming trap > executioner is nuts for damage.

    I would use the master's two handed sword, no doubt in my mind. Brawler right now is awesome for both damage and survivability. One brawler gives me either a jab volley or two without fear of being scratched in trash pulls, and the bleed isn't exactly nothing.

    Master's weapons are pretty strong. Not OP, but then that is the point, no? :)

    When vdsa is scaled they have a chance to drop in the final chest.

    Do you know a good build that incorporates the Master's Sword?

    Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.
