I hate this dungeon so much!!!!!Why are npcs able to animation cancel?!?!?Why are the dam boss hit so dam hard?!?!? There is no way for a causal player to finish this dungeon.Anyone know whats the percentage of ESO's population able to finish this dungeon?

Why? Because the rewards are best-in-slot weapons. Getting the BEST gear isn't supposed to be easy.

Based on my social guild: 25 players 3 of us have done it and 5 including myself are at the 6the stage, and we are not bad players.

The instance is not that hard but is not in line with the keyboard faceroll that the rest of the game is, i will probably have finished month ago but i only play VMSA once a week for an hour.

You need time and experience for this instance and is hard to have Both at the same time.

And Yes OP, is Not made for casual players lucky, regard mobs that AC... Is most like lag i believe.

Also, no - it's NOT supposed to be casual content because it's supposed to be END-game content.
Why would you expect to walk into that first try and ROFLSTOMP everything?
Do normal mode (it's easy AF, even with low CPs and crappy gear + looted pots) and get used to it then try try try just like everyone.

Oh yeah, I'm probably better off going back in when I hit 501 CP. I'm almost at 400 and still getting whumped in Maelstrom. That damn Giant *beep* keeps breaking the ice on me, especially when I almost finish her off. I keep dying on the ice water. need to increase my elemental protection or weapon damage.

IAlso, vMSA is not easy, Many spend up to 40 hrs kn their first clear. What makes you think you could casually walk imto vmsa and not get your *** pushed in? I'd say we;come to the club, but you haven't beat maelstrom yet.

I think s/he means s/he can't kill the boss before she breaks the last platform.
@GreenhaloX - leave the platform with the defensive + offensive sigils for last and when you're there pop them and burn the boss.

This is where I am getting stuck also, I will give this a try.

For most people is not about the weapons.
I dont give a s****t of maelstorm weapons but i want to be able to do the instance at least once ( or twice).

When the Dragonstar arena will get a vr16 scaling nobody will use the maelstorm weapons no more.

Why you feel that you are entitled to personal playground in this game? We are all customers and for ZOS, I am sure it's important that everyone had a chance to finish every their released content. Too easy for you , get naked and run it without CP. if you wanna challenge. I dont, I have enough challenges in real life, I want to relax in video game and have fun. I dont wanna spend hours testing stuff and looking for what is actually performs better than tooltip says or what combinations gets you better dps. Self entitlement of some of you is sickening. How about older (age) customers, or customers with some disabilities? Not everyone just can Gid Gud.

@Bao1340 the content is hard. intentionally hard. There are lots of guides on mechanics, guides on builds. Every class can complete the maelstrom. All it takes is a commitment and practice. but dont feel obliged or compelled.

even BIS weapons will only last a few more months when vDSA is bought up to CP160

. but if you do want to do it my advice is:

Practice is better than any amount of CP or Gold Gear, most players think they are lacking. i often hear ill try again "when i hit the CP cap". or "when i have maxed my gear"I have yet to hear one person say "I struggled when i had 400 CP but as soon as i hit 501 CP it became easy, I had no further problems"

They already nerfed prison and WGT into dust casual level difficulty. This is the last piece of hard content outside of 12 man trials. I dont know why so many complain about it

why you feel that 100% of the game should be adjusted to older players with disabilities? this is just ONE piece of solo content in the game which makes you become a much better player. if you don't want to do that, go do quests or smth, you can even complete a normal version of this arena without many difficulties. relax by picking flowers and fishing.

I can ask you the same question.
For me challenge is entertainig and this keyboard faceroll game is already boring as it is, now that VWGT and VICP got nerfed.
But i'm not complaining or using aged or disable players to enforce my teory...

You have a point tho with using L2P or Gid Gud as a sentence, if you feel superior, go somewhere else plz...

When the Dragonstar arena will get a vr16 scaling nobody will use the maelstorm weapons no more.

I dunno about that, yes the 1h sword will be, but imo maelstrom inferno/resto/daggers/axes and 2h will still be better.
