Zen, sometimes when my friend looks at looted gear, he can't tell what level the glyph is on the enchanted armor. Can we get a corresponding color of the words that represents the glyph level?

When it comes from dropped gear, the enchant scales with the quality of the item. Say a Green headpiece drops, it will have a Jejota quality enchant on there, when you upgrade it to blue quality then the enchant will automatically upgrade to a Denata quality enchant and so on. You don't have to worry about the enchant on dropped equipment, it simply scales with what quality you upgrade it.

This does not work with crafted equipment, their enchants are whatever you put on them and stay that quality no matter how much you upgrade them.

    That's partially correct.

For dropped items, there is a "default" enchantment that will scale with the item's color quality. So an item upgraded from green to blue will get its enchantment upgraded as well.

However, for some dropped items, there is a pre-applied enchantment that overrides the default enchantment. This typically happens if the loot table randomizes the enchantment. The most striking example of this is with the vWGT/vICP dungeon sets. Items that are looted off of enemies will have their default enchantment whose quality will upgrade alongside with the items color quality. However, items looted from the vWGT/vICP trophy vaults have randomized enchantments. Which is why you would sometimes see a Scathing piece with a health or stamina enchantment. And pieces from the trophy vaults will not have their enchantment potency upgraded with the item quality (even if the randomized enchantment happens to match the default enchantment--the default is still being overridden).

However, to the OP's question, if your looking at a White Item that has an Enchantment, the Glyph is White, a Green Item, the Glyph is Green, etc.

The other rule of thumb is, if your going to improve the item to make it better, Improve the Item first, then look at the Glyph value to see if it has gone up. If not, you have to apply a new Glyph, otherwise you can keep the Glyph on the item, if it has the effect you want.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Well, I didn't know that! Thanks, most of the Spell Power Cure I've picked up has been from the Trophy Vaults rather than the dungeon, and I'd have been wondering why the enchants were lower than my other gear...
