Really? NOW? After I spent hundreds of thousands making a working build that utilizied one of these specific weapons...
3 weeks after the launch when you "fix" things?
I don't know anymore what builds or sets or items to craft/spend money on, because I don't know what is yet to be "fixed"...
This is so unreliable, anything can become trash overnight (or should i say overday, because you are patching the freaking client on EU primetime!?)...
I have been in eso since beta and now I'm seriously considering just dropping this, with all this awful crap going on... it just doesn't seem to get better.

Vinther✭✭✭A bug? They were "adjusting/fixing" the item. Which should have been done during the PTS testing or prior to launch when it would have been a CAPABLE developer... It was reported many times on PTS and it was considered "OK" and "NORMAL" by ZOS obviously because it was not fixed...

In MMOs stuff change.
After major patch/rework/reboot it is not uncommon for things to change over the next month or so as bugs get prioritized and not everything done at once.
A such it is not usually advisable to make irreversible and beyond-throw-away-expense allocations until the smoke clears.
At what point in the last few weeks did you reach the idea that "hey they got it all worked out now so its time to (over)commit!"?

✭✭✭✭✭I do get it. But honestly while it would be frustrating you really have no one to blame for yourself. This was talked about on the forums frequently as a bug they intended to fix. If you chose to spend an outrageous amount of gold to gain an advantage in the short term, well, I hope you got your money's worth is all I'm saying.
Consider it a lesson learned. Always do your homework before dropping the coin.

Aztlan✭✭✭✭I have to agree with the poster, although I'm trying to being philosophical about it. (Yeah, I know, things change in MMOs.) But I do wish that ZOS had made it clearly known that the enchantment was bug, not a feature, and that they intended to change it as soon as possible. Was there such a notice? I saw nothing. Although the Dominion Bow was relatively cheap, I did put resources into improving two of them to gold. I guess I can put disease enchantments on them now. Oh well.2 -

Also, next time someone tells you that you have to have a certain build because it's "best in class" point them to this thread and tell them to start saving their gold.
This is the main reason I went with an all infused armor set. Assuming they don't change what it does completely any nerf will most likely to be changing 20% to 15% or a buff would be similar the other way. I invested 500,000 gold. I wanted something as nerf proof as possible.0 -
