Idk they ZOS keeps insisting on adding junk and nothing but junk to the game. Half of the craftable gear is utterly crap, half of the dropped sets are utterly crap. Half of the weapon traits are utterly crap.

I mean wtf, why create junk in order to fake "diversity" ?

There's nothing diverse in having 100 armor sets with only 5 of them being actually usable.

Look at the new DB craftable sets for an example, half-assed work right there, not really thought out.

And as soon as a piece of junk becomes USABLE (not even overpowered, situationally usable, that's all) it gets nerfed into being obsolete once again.

This kills all sorts of diversity and makes everyone use exactly the same sets all the freaking time.

Stick the vma weapons up to you know where ZOS.

Except those weapons have had special enchants since the beta of this game and most people have viewed them as something that brought more diversity to the game that is so plagued by the dumbed down itemization where everyone has the same enchants on the same gear and no one is unique.

But hey, whatever to justify your lack of theorycrafting skills and now laugh at those who are actually good at it.

How about you guys start paying a better attention to what people actually want instead of revoking every bit of creativity left in this game?

There's simply not enough material to theorycraft from anymore, really, there isn't.

Only viable traits on weapons are sharpened on main bar, precise on resto staff, infused/precise on bow.

Nirnhorned was nerfed to oblivion.

Do you people at the HQ actually even BOTHER to think things through before you just change them?

Most expensive trait to create is worth nothing, what a great example of "BALANCE" and instead you just keep screwing things up, like messing up all the AP weapons to be worth nothing.

Why would I EVER waste AP on weapon boxes? Seriously.

Look at the set values, they are worthless, a joke. (like 99% of other items in the game)

Veteran dungeon drops are ALL a joke as well, with a small chance of usable jewelry.

But look at all the armor/weapons that drop there, deconstruction mats, nothing else!

WORST ITEMIZATION of ANY MMO I have played so far. And I have played a LOT of them.

The amount of snarky people in this thread who don't know wtf they are talking about it amazing, truly a sight to behold.

First , the Bow drops pretty commonly from off/def med armor bags , and could also be bought from guild vendors for a few K's if you spent the time to look around. Highest price I ever saw, and was very recent, was 20k .. not 100's of thousands lmao

Second, it wasn't a bug as MANY people have pointed out, it was ALWAYS supposed to have a better than crafted enchant , that was part of the usefulness... just like all of those older pvp sets.

Third, I am pretty sure it was this video that brought how cool the Bow was to the attention of people who don't normally theorycraft (or read tooltips

) .... and so it's been a "nice thing" for nearly a month now...
but we can't have nice things... you must grind VMA

Where are the unique weapons in this game? vMA weapons? Master weapons (that aren't even scaled to CP160)? What else? Now these weapons are just like every other one out there that you can enchant. Congrats.

sorry this happened to you!

On a broader topic, be careful on spending too much money / using all your gold materials on a lot of new armor for all your alts, or alternative sets for toons that are already geared.

I'm predicting that the CP cap will be raised this fall, so I'm going to stick w my two toons that have a good build w legendary gear, and just save up gold and tempers until then.

Last time I didn't really have a nest egg to help with upgrades so I've been planning for a max level increase since then.

My main nb has been wearing the same build since IC launched and he still kills people just fine

Dude, I was talking about AP axes originally. The bow was barely an issue cost-wise.

Uhhhh, how would you like to get a game patch and you log in just to get a respec screen? Your profession(s) no longer exists. Professions taken down from 32 to 9. How about all your in-game fighting pets reduced to having to "stuff" them and be deco inside a house as the pet prof no longer existed? This was only a small part of SWG's NGE as there were several larger changes other than that included, all in the same patch. And SOE not only did this once to SWG, it was done 3 different times in the history of SWG, along with soooo many nerfs we all called a period of time in the game, NERF WARS that lasted about 6 months before we got another one of those large changes, CU. And then there's the ever popular taking alpha jedi (think here of taking the emp), which you ground for about a year, down to a starter prof which couldn't hardy kill an NPC due to total unbalance.

It's not fun to lose your progress or your builds, but worse has been done by many other MMOs.

Its fine, I knew their incompetence to actually correctly "balance" those sets would hit at some point that is why I already said you can use a maelstrom bow instead of the Super Enchantment

ZOS really good at twisting words tho. They didnt "FIX" it they simply FORGOT about those because those enchants have been there for 2 years.
