Why do you have no clear goal or direction of development?

    Why do you introduce a cp system that destroys all balance and resource managment (like you have been told on pts ) then cap it at 501 where every issue is already present and promiss to raise the cap later but actually don't do it?

    Why do you have no statement or no topic where smb at least give some kind of write up about what we can actually expect from your game?

    And most importantly why you can never just tell us straight out that you made mistakes and roll back those mistakes without applying bandaids like you do now?

    because the game's base is *** amazing? it is like driving a ferrari on which everytime it goes to the shop somebody breaks something it is still a ferrari but it feels kind of problematic that any moment the tires could fall off

    ESO is being run in much the same way as Trion run Rift. Don't worry about the quality, look at the money rolling in as people pay for all the fluff.

    on a side note... Why are my sorc shields and heals being thrown to the ground and being stomped on when we clearly can't hold a candle to the damage mitigation that is being held by other classes. I know I couldn't eat 35 meteors to the face...

    Some of the questions you are asking make sense, some don't make sense to me and a few are hung up on minutiae, but as far as the overall goals and direction, this has been discussed in several interviews and videos.

    I believe the primary goal was to develop a game that would appeal to both MMO fans as well as Elder Scrolls fans - they have been very consistent with this and surprisingly they managed to pull it off.

    As for the balance, clearly any multiplayer game with a huge scope is continually changing. The balance will continue swinging this way or that based on player feedback and probably never be perfect, but look how far we've come since launch, when magicka vampire DKs could solo 20 players and stamina builds were regularly kicked from endgame PVE groups etc. The balance has already improved tremendously.

    If they listened to what 80% of players actually said they wanted, then ESO would be great again. Instead we get situations like what the OP points out along with content, sets, and mechanic changes that nobody cares about or even wanted.

    I have always wondered why I put up with the oil spot in my living room where the bike sat,..until I was riding it.
    You will always know why when you get in that Ferrari or climb onto that Harley why you put up with it.
    Yup.ESO is like fine old Ferrari,or even like a very fine wine.Its gets better with age.And I believe it will.

    Some of the questions you are asking make sense, some don't make sense to me and a few are hung up on minutiae, but as far as the overall goals and direction, this has been discussed in several interviews and videos.

    I believe the primary goal was to develop a game that would appeal to both MMO fans as well as Elder Scrolls fans - they have been very consistent with this and surprisingly they managed to pull it off.

    As for the balance, clearly any multiplayer game with a huge scope is continually changing. The balance will continue swinging this way or that based on player feedback and probably never be perfect, but look how far we've come since launch, when magicka vampire DKs could solo 20 players and stamina builds were regularly kicked from endgame PVE groups etc. The balance has already improved tremendously.

    And surprisingly the OP has ignored your reasonable post while commenting on almost every other...

    There will be unintended consequences, particularly when you have thousands of people looking for them on the introduction of each new set of gear or poison, etc.. It's not surprising that in an evolving game the developers are having to make adjustments.

    To answer just one of the OP's questions, "why nerf dodge roll and then introduce a trait for dodge roll?" Well it's obvious - permaroll was a problem, sorted by the nerf. Adding a trait to help out dodgers? It's a choice that has consequences - just like any other in the game. Makes total sense.

    By the way, 70s Ferraris can be brutal to drive - one of the reasons why their developers went on to produce newer models...

    Why do you introduce a cp system that destroys all balance and resource managment (like you have been told on pts ) then cap it at 501 where every issue is already present and promiss to raise the cap later but actually don't do it?

    And most importantly why you can never just tell us straight out that you made mistakes and roll back those mistakes without applying bandaids like you do now?

    Wow!! If you dont like this much of the game,why play it?

    Yeah,but no.I play solo for the most part,and I wont leave the game.I dont care for worrying if I am playing good enough to not upset anyone.Sometimes running a PUG can be great fun though.
    Also, love knowing others are all over the place.

    Well, the game used to be great, and the core still is. But the dev team has just kept on destroying the game for so very long now that it's a completely different game than the one I played 2 years ago, and it's not for the better.

    reasonable post? what do you expect from a freaking post if you call that one reasonable that explains why you are whiteknighting here. smb posted the exact same post some times back and i ask for the points that make no sense. and the f do i care about if they want to make the game approachable for elder scrolls and mmo fans what does that have to do with developing *** pvp. they nerfed perma roll dodging because you take 0 damage there people were using a set that had useless traits just to perma roll dodge than they nerfed dodging by about 50% cost increase now they increased stamina regen and made the actual set that made perma roll dodging possible with the trait that makes roll dodging cheaper so we have the same problem again the choice of the set is the same the traits were useless back then and now they are usefull you lose nothing if you go well fitted since it was like that before and you avoid all damag while roll dodging.

    Get a grip.

    There's no handbook for all the variables in a game of this size and scope. The game and players are constantly evolving, and in my opinion they're doing a good job.

    I don't agree with some of the changes, but they are actively involved.
    Of course I like steak. I'm a Nord, aren't I?

    I truly believe that zeni should hire some people that they are actually playing the game instant of looking at stat numbers only!
    This kind of changes in a 2,5 y/old game are not just "improvements" ! ESO is not BETA people!

    Am tired of changing and testing the setup of my 5 end game chars (armors skills combos etc) and optimize them every 2-3 months! This RIDICULOUS!
    It looks to me that they rely dont know what they are doing or where they are heading! They just testing ....things..... together with our patience at the end
