Well, please enlighten me how they do this.The game kinda is rewarding if you make good use of all the things you get.. people literally make hundreds of thousands on weekly basis;
And I'm fairly sure they mention in that quest that you needed a specific kind of Vampire blood... you are a scion of Lamae yourself , not the same kind of vampire as those ferals / wild ancient ones.

I need to save this Nord King with a vial of Vampire blood.
I have to go to some Vamp I helped before, to get this vial.
Ain't MY vampire blood not good enough?
Speaking of vampire: ESO treats me, a Vampire, as if it is the normalst of things.
Exquise me?
Missions and my Heroism are not rewarding!!!
Exp: I am Veteran now, but the non-Enlightened CP and Exp gain is simply ridiculously low.
Not to mention Quest rewards being utterly unrewarding (always green items, and this for a Veteran that drove of a Daedra deity??)
Loot:
Someone, when I posted about this, told me, that once one became Veteran, loot was getting better.
Well, I can tell you the very opposite: They drop either white or green, VERY, VERY rarely a blue item which have no value or are good for deconstruction, drop amounts of gold I had as level 10 as well, mostly they drop nada.
Thieves Troves:
I do not expect uber loot from them, but 60% of these drop maps, or a green/blue item.
ZoS, you SERIOUSLY need to get your act together, and make the game rewarding.
If it wasn't for the good people in my Guild, I would not even be able to pay repairs!!!
And I'm not joking.
Fix this, for crying out loud.

Nah, ESO vampires are as scary as the stupid sparkly ones in that movie where that miserable chick had to choose between a labrador and tinkerbell.

But then again, after the dawn guard expansion, you only get attacked if you transform in view of someone else. Nobody would acknowledge you were a vampire.
Let me again say, i do not take trading into account.newtinmpls wrote: »b92303008rwb17_ESO wrote: »Simply by doing missions and selling those crap green and grey items can earn you more than enough money to do most of stuff in this game. I have no idea where this kind of whining comes from.
Um as a compulsive deconn-er I have to say that just running around, selling not much and only occasionally to guild stores (I'm also a hoarder, and a packrat), I do have enough to fix my armor and keep things in fairly good repair.
Granted, after 2+ years on two accounts I'm still at about 100 slots for inventory and 110 for bank (couldn't really afford to do much with that)
but I can definitely fix my armor. I even bought the in-game 10k horse on both accounts.
Funny that you say that, I AM." but 60% of these drop maps"
If that was true i would be rolling in maps....
Yeah, me too...
OMG, NOOOO, THAT FIXED IT ALL.starkerealm wrote: »GivvumBoane wrote: »Tommy1979AtWar wrote: »GreenhaloX wrote: »Remember Skyrim when you're a vampire and everyone attacks you on sight. Does it happens same on ESO when you're a vampire?

That's not completely true, a few NPCs could tell, and would have dialog.

I am, actually.Yes, it is very frustrating. But personally not for much of the reasons you listed, mainly cause my experiences are not applicable with yours such as Vampirism and Thieves Guild.dtm_samuraib16_ESO wrote: »ZoS, you SERIOUSLY need to get your act together, and make the game rewarding.

Really? I mean yeah I don't have hundreds of thousands of Gold but I'm not poor either. Enhance your inventory and just pick up EVERYTHING you find while grinding and questing, then sell it all when you fill up. The Gold will build up as you go. After questing my way up to Vet 1 I was sitting at around 60k before going on a spending spree.
I am enjoying the story as well, but, if I go to help a farmer find his pig, and get rewarded as much as for saving a queen, then I am starting to become angry.Bonzodog01 wrote: »See, I quest because I actually like the storyline. I will sit there and listen to everything they have to say.
I will ask all the possible questions, and it can be fun to run the quests on more than one character, because so many of the quests have multiple outcomes, and exploring the different outcomes can change things up a bit.
Plus, for me, questing beats the hell out of grinding for earning XP. Currently running Cadwells Gold on my primary char, and its proving to be very interesting. And SO many skill points.
As for quest rewards, I use them for levelling crafting or sell them. Always craft your own gear or find a guildie who will do it for you.

That's just not right, you know...
It's immersion breaking for me to a point where I begin to think to delete the game...

Trading is THE best income: DUUUUUUUH....
But I said I will not speak of this here, since economy is a seperate part of the game, player controled.
Thieving is extremely lucrative: DUUUUUUH...
The Guards are complete morons, blind as a bat, and completely incompetent, hence my boost guards post.
Questing: I cannot think of a game where questing was SO badly payed off in rewards.
It gives moronic amounts of gold, the items given are beyond ludicrous, the Exp/CP are totally neglectable UNLESS Enlightenment is active.
Questing is the lowest of all types of income (again, NOT speaking of trading, trading has no place in this topic).
Frankly, the reward system is virtually non-existent.
An idea I had was: kill off Enlightenment completely, and revamp the reward system, so my hero feels appreciated finally.
Right now, he's treated upon like LESS than some sodding erand boy, seeing what he has to go through and who some quest givers are!!!
Saving a queen: 100 gold and a green item?
SCREW THAT.
