Maintenance for the week of January 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – January 6
• NA megaservers for maintenance – January 8, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 8:00AM EST (13:00 UTC)
• EU megaservers for maintenance – January 8, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 13:00 UTC (8:00AM EST)

    Let's stick to simple facts:
Trading is THE best income: DUUUUUUUH....
But I said I will not speak of this here, since economy is a seperate part of the game, player controled.

    Thieving is extremely lucrative: DUUUUUUH...
The Guards are complete morons, blind as a bat, and completely incompetent, hence my boost guards post.

Questing: I cannot think of a game where questing was SO badly payed off in rewards.
It gives moronic amounts of gold, the items given are beyond ludicrous, the Exp/CP are totally neglectable UNLESS Enlightenment is active.
Questing is the lowest of all types of income (again, NOT speaking of trading, trading has no place in this topic).
Frankly, the reward system is virtually non-existent.

An idea I had was: kill off Enlightenment completely, and revamp the reward system, so my hero feels appreciated finally.
Right now, he's treated upon like LESS than some sodding erand boy, seeing what he has to go through and who some quest givers are!!!
Saving a queen: 100 gold and a green item?
    SCREW THAT.

Then don't quest. That's it. No one is forcing you to do the quests. Rewards from quests were never ever any good. Everyone was well aware of that, has always been like that since beta. Questing is more for immersion, if you wanted to get better rewards then L2P (ie if you want to get better gear/weapons, learn-to-craft or learn-to-do-vet-dungeons). Get a guild to run dungeons with you. Don't expect everything to be handed to you just because you did one quest. lol.
But that's just the point I'm addressing here, hello?
    Need a coffee, perchance?
Mine's pitch black, it can raise the dead 4 graveyards down the road.
Maybe that will wake you up.

Your point being you should be rewarded set/legendary items because you killed a zombie or a bandit? lol.
    Yeah, good luck with that.
Maybe get yourself to brew your coffee instead of getting instant ones. Instant ones are for lazy people who thinks they are suppose to be handed things to them. Hmmmm...

PS your coffee may raise the dead, but it sure didn't raise your IQ. lol

@me_ming who on earth said that???
Seems that on your side the IQ dropped into negatives!
I am saying to up the rewards, yes, but not with silliness like that.
But more BLUE would be nice.
    More gold, and Exp.
And balance this out by nerfing thievery by boosting the guards.

Quite a lot different than what you claim I say, no?

Am I really surrounded by a planet filled with.... sots...?
    In-frikken-credible...

You fail to understand: Not speaking of trading, since that is player controlled economy, the most important income is theft, due to the guards being extremely incompetent, blind bats.
The guards can't even find their own rear having a lantern and both hands free.
This should not be the main income.
    Not like this.
Theft should be VERY hard, lucrative, but VERY hard.

Questing is normally the main income.
I am not asking to get rich, I am asking for a feeling that my main character is rewarded, that his work is appreciated.

    Rebalance thievery with quest rewards.
