I dont think they will bring the barbershop anytime soon, so your best bet is to create a new character.

PS: Even when they bring the barber shop, I doubt they will allow us to change our character completely, it will probably be only minor things such as the hair and makeup...

I really hope the barber shop at least allows changes to skin (fur) color, body marking, face marking, hairstyle, and adornments/facial hair. My khajiit are looking outdated.

I hope they will also allow us to change body types but I am not sure

... the best would be if they allow us to change everything!

ZOS has been very silent on this topic lately.. despite having said: "it will come with the next major update"

Do not count on them, it wasn't in the patch notes and it might take over a year. That is very unfortunate, as it has been wanted by many players and they would earn some $$ in the crown shop, imho significantly more $$

But the income from this game most be so high that they don't care about more dollars.

Wrobel stated on ESO Live that he didn't want to make major racial balancing changes until the barbershop is available.

So they are planning to do race changes in the barbershop later this year.

They also stated that they will not do class changes.

Barbershop will be coming, but... not anytime soon.

As for how many changes... they are on record for appereance, name and gender changes coming. They also stated that race change is pretty much certain to come, class change they won't ever do, and alliance change they are still thining about.

Personally I think it makes a lot of sense for them to allow lots of changes - from compelte appereance recustomization to race change. Only question for you will be, how many crowns they might charge...

And as others have stated - if you are not yet witting on months of crafting research and riting lessions, just delete and reroll.

If you are too much along for this to be a viable option in your opinion... then put that charatcer "on hold" for now, play an alt, and wait for barbershop.

... I dont have any good feeling about the cost or how they will do it... Will it be 5.000 crowns again? Will we have to pay crowns everytime we use the barber shop? That would be crazy but I am expecting the worst...

Instead of rushing through character creation some people actually need to put some thought into it or just re roll. The base game already gives us 8 slots and you can get four more once dark brotherhood goes live.

I personally find it hard to level a toon until I'm actually happy with it but that's just me.

Enjoy a character disgraced by its race until, maybe, someday, in the far and beyond future, like I do with my Breton Sorcerer that doesn't work as competitively anymore.

If alliance change ever comes, it will be in the far future. right now they are only considering it.

As for barbershop... the most likely options might be one 5000 crowns assistant that does it any way you like without further playment, a token system where you pay a flat cost to re-enter chargen and do your changes, or some in-game locations where you go to make your changes - those might possibly be set up with an small cost per slider moved, to be added up for the final "make it so" button press.

We shall see which way they go... personally I am hoping for in-game locations, because I love things being immersive, but they might just as well go for the other options in the name of convenience.

It is 2016, you can be whoever/whatever you want, then change your mind again every few months... Come on ZOS catch up

Seriously, this would be pretty cool, even though it will probably be super expensive 10k crown or more, and with more slots and super easy/fast leveling after next patch... With people have 1yr+ characters, do we reroll and level all the annoying stuff like und/pvp/fighter and mag guilds and vapm/ww etc...... the only question is do they make more $$ putting this option in the crown store or with people going $15mo. to reroll and leveling everything.... 4 months to get everything leveled or 10k crown to change your 1yr maxed out char.... IMO the 10k crown option is more immediately profitable, especially in a declining sub. scenerio but, keeping it out supports building/keeping subs for 3-6 more months..... whatever they do will give a glimpse of where the game is headed.

as long as they keep with no class change cause ive played game with it and people change every update to the same 1 to 2 classes that are the strongers and it makes the combat boring playing the same thing and ruins the mastery of you main class

They spoke about it a long time ago. The classic response is "We're looking into it", or "We want to do it right, so we're taking our time". Far, far too much time has passed now though.

Why those and various other basic MMO options that have been spoken about since release are not yet part of the basic game is quite frankly an embarrassment for the development company. It's anyone's guess if they'll ever be added.
