DDragon✭While the value of 3000 is flat, it can still crit. I tested it without any CP and sometime heal was for 4.5k. Dunno whether it's spell of weapon crit.0 -

I had 6% into blessed and 1% into that red recovery thingy, surge heal is not affected by battlespirit while in cyrodiil.
This could make it interesting.0 -

It seems Crit Surge is considered a SPELL CRIT.
Putting points into Elfborn DID increase the Heals.
With putting points into Precise Strike, the Heals DID NOT increase.
This must be changed to Power Surge being affected by Elfborn and Crit Surge being affected by Precise Strikes!

It was a pts-char with lousy stats, not that it matters, the heal from surge and crit surge are fixed value.

Birdovic✭✭✭✭✭I'll be a little cheeky and dare to repeat myself, because this seriously needs attention, in my opinion.
I dont know if this is intended or a bug but:
Critical Surge:
With putting POINTS INTO PRECISE STRIKE, the HEALS DO NOT INCREASE
With putting POINTS INTO ELFBORN, the HEALS DO INCREASE
This needs to be changed, so
- Power Surge(Morph which Magicka Sorc will use) is affected by Elfborn
and
- Crit Surge(Morph which Stamina Players will use) is affected by Precise Strikes

✭I'm so ridiculously excited about this change, my first character in pre release was a khajiit stsmsorc built around crit surge, and I love the build but it was always too broken, especially because you couldn't use dot's. I occasionally try and play that character but never got past vet 4. This update I bet they are then only toon I play- I'm currently focusing on getting vet 16 briarheart gear for them to grow into. Really excited.#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.0 -

Not to mention battle spirit hasn't taken effect on surge yet in pvp.

Yo, it's still useless in PvP.
Currently, even shields can be crit in PvP and the amount hps I put out from surge has dropped drastically...
This a buff for anyone who isn't at endgame and it's a nerf for anyone who is.
Problem with that? Once again, stam sorc is nerfed into oblivion and now have the lowest sustainability and dps. Thankfully we've got higher movement speed, but that's about it.
Ie., when your flying blade/ light attack combo heals you for 6k and it's done in less than a second, you'll understand why this is a nerf. Work on getting 3.5k + weap damage and above a 70% crit.

Don't bother on the briarheart.... It's a dps drop compared to even hundings and Night mother's.
Cool concept on the set, but you'd legitimately pull more self heals and do more dps with v14 ravagers...

Jar_Ek✭✭✭✭✭Depends on play style. Using DoTs that will crit every second can be better than wb spam was simply due to the chance of missing a crit and a 12k heal. It is also better for lower damage tankier builds. But for a pure dps build it is a hps loss in many situations.
Having had a quick think it could be awesome for hybrids... If only they were viable.2 -

✭In ve, it's a pure hps loss, but in pvp it's not. Most hit won't heal you for 3k heal in pvp actually, but with this change we can get a better sustain. Sad that other build has been nerfed, especially 2H and pve who will probably be at the same place dual wield is in pvp actually…
Surge should really heal without cooldown on every direct hit/dot. But even like this, that's tank build who will be screwed.0 -

Critsurge heals for more then 3k, thats just the base heal, wich is then boosted by cp or other factor, aswell as crit, and currently isnt affected by battlespirit.
