Someone explain why you'd need a 9th slot. Obviously to rework your original class but picked a poor race for it right?

Some people just like to have fun making new characters and playing them new ways. Like each race using different classes, different skills, and different weapons. It can take more than 8 slots to do that.
I have had to dump one of my characters because I realized that I wanted to rename it,or wanted to use a different class that I hadnt tried before.Personally,I would rather not have of kill one of my guys.

If it is just for the name you can always contact customer support, they most likely only help you with such things if you have eso +

I do have ESO+,but they dont do that ingame unless your name is offensive to someone.I had a character who's name must have offended someone, cos they made me changee it.When I went to log in,I was given a box to make a new name.
Seems that Weh-r-m-a-c-h-t isnt allowed ingame.

I only can get 8 chars in the weekly I need to get 12 to get the maximum amount of rewards  plus with 12 you have more crafting writs you can do lol.

I just like playing different characters with different play styles only sometimes the game wants me to choose between 1 skill that you need for pve but you need the other 1 for pvp and to respec all the time is really frustrating.

at least it doesn't take a lot more time to level a character to lvl 50.. collecting lorebooks and enough skillpoints probably will take a bit longer but my guess is its ok.

the customer support on the website is a lot nicer and most of the time they take the time to help you with your problems. sadly the ingame costumer support is mostly bots or automated messages saying the same stuff over and over and you wonder if a bot or a person has readed that ***.

I want one of each class/resource combination. That's 8 characters.

With the over abundance of BoP and the max bank space being so low, I also need mules. I actually have two mules with 200 inventory space each holding nothing but bound gear--nothing else.

The introduction of the crafting bags will help some, but my bank only has a max of 240 spaces, and my two gear mules have 400 spaces between them.

I also have a second account for muling all the stuff that isn't bound...

You should have at least one dead guild with 500 bank slots by now :P

I do, actually. Doesn't help with the bound gear, though.

How can 8 slots EVER be enough?
Let's count: per character made, one needs at least three alts to store stuff on.
If you have 2 characters, that's 8 slots used right there.
    Unless, like Khele said:

That might help a bit, true.

I have always had the utmost respect for our website mods, but they cant just let you have ingame name changes,or everyone would do it.I already had a forum name change once, but not an ingame one from them.

If they are more than a 1000 Crowns, I will wait for the game to go on sale and buy another copy. Sure, I won't have CPs, but really, you only need 200 to 300 of them for what I do. I am at the Cap on account now, so its not like I can use any more on my current account.

Besides, I can pimp my characters out on the new account with the current account's crafters.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
