EP gets manhandled come prime time. You know, when there is competition online and they can't PvDoor an emp at 7 in the morning.
EP won the campaign on nightcapping and crowning emps with no competition online. I dethroned more EP emps this campaign than I have in the last 4 campaigns combined. It'll win you campaigns to play that way, but it's not exactly impressive.
Hey, seems like DC likes to make posts and just say things to get their morale up after losing the 30 day campaign. Go on, Im listening
Is that a bad thing ? Should we not try to increase moral ? EP had a tough time a few campaigns back . Does it really make that much of a difference that DC was on top then ?
Edit to add I just think the point of the thread was to say it was a really fun fight ...
Gather 'round, proud warriors all,
Silent now and standing tall.
Bow your heads to those who sleep,
Beneath the ground of Chalman Keep.
The flames of war seared the land,
Crushing all with brutal hand.
Dominion soldiers sought the throne,
Chalman, undaunted, stood alone.
Hooves thundered o'er the sward,
Death neared for all, swift and hard.
Defenders stood upon Chalman's wall,
Warriors brave, Covenant heroes all.
Forward came the Dominion hordes,
With arcane spells and gleaming swords.
Walls shook to siege engines' roars,
Rams thundered upon keep doors.
The outer doors fell to the invaders' barrage,
Into the courtyard Elves and Khajiit charged.
The inner door too gave when assaulted,
O'er bodies and rubble the attackers vaulted.
The defenders made their might felt,
Spells flared forth, death was dealt.
Fury rained upon invaders' heads,
'til Khajiit and Elves all were dead.
No time to rest, no time to heal,
Doors and breaches they must seal.
All was repaired, the damage undone,
As another deadly assault was begun.
Once again, fierce battle was fought,
Death was granted where it was sought.
Entropy rose inside the keep,
Swept over all, piled the bodies deep.
Again the bloody tide receded,
Dominion foes once more defeated.
Orc and Redguard and Breton remained,
Proud survivors of Chalman Keep again.
Dominion warriors attacked once more,
In numbers far greater than ever before.
They battered aside weary defenders,
Stopped only in the innermost chambers.
Into the apse the heroes were hounded,
Dominion victory cries loudly sounded.
Then chaos erupted as the Pact swept in,
Seeing their enemies' forces worn thin.
Caught between fierce anvil and hammer,
Elf and Khajiit died in brave manner.
Only Pact and Covenant soon remained,
Then the defenders cleared the field again.
A breath, a pause, a brief respite,
The Covenant cause now truly desperate.
A final assault the Dominion did mount,
A massive wave, too many to count.
Determined to conquer, refusing to desist,
The Dominion force impossible to resist.
The defenders resolved to fight to the last,
No blow was wasted, no spell shoddily cast.
One by one the gallant warriors fell,
Breton, Redguard, and Orc died well.
Their lives given up for Chalman Keep,
They rest forever in honored sleep.
The Dominion banner rose over the hall,
A Dominion Emperor then ruled over all.
Peace came to Chalman, damage repaired,
Attackers dispersed, to other sites they fared.
That emperor is gone, his reign long past.
What remains of this day, what of it lasts?
Just the display of courage, in that final stand,
Of those who stood, and died, at Chalman

lol this thread. everyone calling for good fights and fun when all was happening was disgusting latency issues, pings spiking to 1k, something that I haven't seen since 1.6. There was nothing to be proud of. Just the pathetic behaviours from both sides (EP and DC) to stack their whole population in the same area. It makes me sick to read such a thread. like really?

Frozy, please. DC did not have the entire faction at Chal. More left and went to back cap glade and ales. I can't help it if Zone heeds my calls for back up. Roechacca led the charge for a lot of DC to leave. So please don't sit here and try to SHAME DC for defending a keep!!!!

A dozen of DC broke away from Chal that and went to recover the AD scroll and two keeps AD managed to grab in the heat of battle at Chal . I don't agree that's a disgusting display from either faction at Chal and don't blame my fellow DC for staying the whole time there . Both sides got passionate about winning the Chalamo once again . The server performance is not any players fault , it's a design problem since way back and you know this all too well so I'm not telling you anything new .
I gave up a long time ago trying to dictate to people how and where they should be and when . They bought the game with their money and have no obligation (even if it's a good suggestion) to change their play style for others . So not only do I not badger them , I also pay them no grudge and I don't entertain people that try the same on me .
In a faction like DC and sometimes even EP , the cost is too great to lose players to this conjecture . I know I need all of DC to be there as a faction United and not divided over play style expectations . Luck in battle Frozn . Stay frosty not angry .

When you buy a boat, it doesn't mean you can use it max speed anytime you feel for it. When you get near the docks, or when you pass slower boats, you must slow down your horses for the best of all. It is exactly the same when you play in Cyrodiil.
The servers cannot handle the actual population caps and they surely can't handle the whole population of two factions in the same area. Sure Zenimax promoted this game as large scale pvp 2years ago but THIS IS NOT HAPPENING. The only thing we can do to make is better is to discipline ourselves and spread out when the ping is spiking up.
Now like every other one before you who keep blaming Zenimax for the poor performances and keep zerging it up, please keep doing so if that suits you. If you don't wanna contribute to make this better, I won't try to change your mind but by all mean, respect people who try to do efforts to help the cause.
