I'm assuming you're basing these complaints off your experience with Vet16 kitted out characters.

I can confirm that dungeons get way to easy with many CP and good equipment. But they were fairly hard with my first character with bad equipment and no CP. It was really a challenge. If 3 trash mobs focused me I was dead for sure. Now with 4xx CP and golden equipment I laugh about the dungeons. Only activity finder groups are the challenge.

Anyways I think ZoS should scale the dungeon depending on the CP and equipment. Is it so hard to scale the difficulty by a formular that includes the average CP and average equipment state? It should get easier if you get more CP and better equipment of course you are playing to get better, if the difficulty stays the same there is no progress but it needs to get harder if the group is better.

I think its not so hard, to calculate the avarage CP is easy and there is also already a forumlar about the equipment that a lvl 10 gold is worse than a lvl 14 blue. They just need to calculate a equipment rating for every dungeon participent and caluclate the average. This average numbers needs to be used to scale the difficulty. Afterwards it should not be super hard at the beggining and super easy at the end but a study difficulty which gets less if everybody improves.

This!!! Dungeons should scale of the number of CP the group/player has, BUT up to a certain amount.

That way, you could have like 100CP = easy difficulty / 350 CP = medium difficulty / 501 CP = hard difficulty. Of course to be scaled up again when they raise the CP cap.

    I kinda like this idea.

To be fair, they had to nerf vet content. It was way harder before. yeah sure v1-2 was easy, past that you had to have a specific build that used DPS AND survival skills. if you didn't, you'd die to 1 mob attacking you. And that went against one of their selling points of "play how you want." Can't exactly do that if only specific builds can make it to max level.

So the vet content nerf happened because they where losing subs left and right because the game went from /yawn "watch netflex while leveling" to "Oh ***.... wtf just hit me."

That's funny because I walked away to use the bathroom and came back to a dead character killed by wolves that respawned.

If you're a max everything vet 16 with the best gold sets then naturally most of the game will seem easy but what about the vast majority of normal players? We're not overpowered and this game isn't the same cakewalk it is for you.

    Uhjm... game too easy?

This topic can easely be resolved by watching this show:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pb-9fJjao-I

The issue at hand is.. are the enemies too weak or is saitama too strong?

In ESO it's kind of exactly the same thing with the difference that "Saitama class" is played only by a small percentage of the playerbase while the others are "normal heroes".

In fact the majority of other games on the market are WAY easier than most of the content ESO provides even after ESO di nerf something.

ANd i have to admit.. it's kind of... sad, seeing peoiple that get into the game, see it like a "challenge to overpower everything" and then when they actually achieve their goal and overpower everything they complain saing that the game is too easy ^^

Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    Well put.

This is one of the main reasons why so many people dislike PvP in ESO.
Because playing against other players is not easy in the slightest.

After facerolling mobs and bosses over the map, getting killed by a single player is dissatisfying at the least.
So those kind of players simply choose to disregard PvP and return to super-easy mode PvE content.

...Until they visit a veteran 4 man dungeon for the first time.
Then come the "nerf dungeons" and "Grouping tool is not working" threads.

Content that gets progressively harder up until lvl 50 would go a long way of bringing all players to play side-by-side in every aspect of the game.

    Hey Folks,

Regarding White Gold Tower, Imperial City Prison and Veteran City of Ash: We have adjusted their balance down a bit. We hear the feedback and appreciate the passion for this content but, we were not happy with the difficulty to complete these and wanted to ease that burden. Those three dungeons are still not a walk in the park but they shouldn't be quite the roadblock they are now.
