    12 seems... low. They should set the cap so high people will see it as a CHALLANGE to fill them all up. Come on ZOS Character Limit of 32!!!

    Read the patch notes. Zos has said max is 12 characters. So yes your correct and Zos has already confirmed it. No biggie.

    And expect the cost to be anywhere from 2k - 5k crown. My guess is 5k.

    Would I be surprised if the cost was 5k per slot? Honestly (and sadly), no I really wouldn't.

    Do I expect the cost to be 5k per slot? I really don't know what to expect. Part of me still believes (or maybe just hopes?) that ZOS might not really be that short-sighted and stupid.

    Should the cost be 5k per slot? Absolutely not. That's completely ridiculous, and there's no viable justification in the world for that. And this is coming from someone who bought both the banker and the merchant because he honestly felt that 5k wasn't completely ridiculous for those features.

    I stand corrected. If their goal was to increase sales of the game, that actually would be a viable justification.

    @Elder_III I wouldn't touch G2A. That was the site that gutted preorders and then started selling the Explorer pack separately for 10 bucks before launch, rather than including it as they were supposed to.

    An assistant has a lot more value for most people than another slot. Everyone has had to deal with inventory drama. Most people don't have 8 slots full with characters they care about keeping around.

    Of course, craft bags will make assistants a lot less valuable.

    But considering mount skins can go for 2500, 2500 for a slot seems cheap.

    I'm not exactly sure how well that would work. While I find a 5K/slot price an unjustifiable purchase because I can theoretically get two additional accounts (at sale price) with many more slots for about the same price, that doesn't mean that I actually will buy two more accounts. So far, I have not purchased additional accounts, and the availability of overpriced character slots is not likely to change that. While the opportunity cost of 5K slots makes the slot cost ridiculous, it does not directly follow that I have to purchase additional accounts just because I refuse to purchase character slots.

    What is most likely to happen is that if the slots cost 5K (or anything else ridiculously overpriced, and yes I'd consider even 2K in that realm), I simply would not purchase any additional slots or additional accounts, and would simply continue as I am now making do with the eight slots that I have. However, if the slots were more reasonably priced (500-1K), I could justify purchasing a few (or more, depending on the limits).

    So if ZOS prices these reasonably, they can have some of my money. If they are ridiculously overpriced, then they will get none of it (or rather none above what I had already intended to spend on other features/content). At this point, my money is theirs to lose.
