So you are a solo player in ESO?

I solo when questing but I play a lot of group content in ESO. I don't have very many people to play with in the Division so I got pretty bored of running around by myself.
You don't have to be a video game monogamist. You can like different games for different reasons, especially games in different genres, settings, and play modes.
In fact, a rotation of various types of games is probably more healthful than being obsessed with just one.

Yeah, I am going to play some CU when it hits beta because it sounds like it will be fun but also because I am hoping such niche MMOs might give a kick in the pants to larger studios to take more risks and try more innovative ideas. Doesn't mean I think people should completely abandon ESO for such games. And after taking a break from a game one often comes back and finds it has regained some of its charm.

Third person shooter, with loot elements. More like Gears of War and Diablo mixed into a blender.
But, hey, at least it isn't asking $100 for two "convenience" items.

Ya not to derail the thread but I wouldnt pay $10 for those assistants. Is it really that hard to just zone back to a town. Wandering merchants all over the place. I see no need for it.

Haha funny you mention BDO. I am rather enjoying it because it reminds me of ultima online. That being said everyone who supposedly quit for BDO in my ESO guild are back and no longer play BDO. The main reason is its too "grindy". Which is what an open world sandbox is. Grinding.

Not only that, but to get trade routes established in-game you basically have to full time farm contribution points and then invest them, watch the market, set up workers, ship goods, sell at a super farm distance node and this all leaves you with no time to chill and have a good time with friends.

To be fair, kudos to them for letting you actually roleplay a character who's building a mercantile empire.

Oh hell yeah. I'm not saying that it's a bad move from them. Some people love it.
But if you're more interested in typical dungeon crawling and end-game raiding... well then it's a bad detraction for you.
