Battle Levelling Is Broken - 1557 DMG Staff!!!!

I have been doing alot of nonvet PvP lately. And i got a sensation that my stats would differ widely from different levels, with optimal gear (same level). In many cases i also found that my lvl 46 sorc would have better stats than my VR 16!

Today i found out why. My VR inferno staff in gold, has 1335 DMG. My lvl 46 inferno staff has 1557 DMG. That is why my lvl 46 has so much more Spell Damage than my VR 16 in identical gear.

Can anyone else confirm this happening?

It has been known for a while there is actually a level around the 30's where you get the max from battle leveling its actually kind of nuts it gives you almost 40% more stats than a vr16 lol.

Went in and checked my VR1 NB. his inferno staff in Gold i s 1335 Dmg. The 1557 dmg. That is the stats of a 2H gold weapon.

No wonder my lvl 46 Sorc is wrecking everybpdy in sight.

So I can take my lvl 30 sorc to cp campaign and destroy vr16s?

When I pvp with a lower vet they're always stronger than my V16's.

This is technically working as intended, as the relatively higher power for lower level characters is supposed to offset the fact that they don't have the spread of available skills or gear that a higher level character has. But perhaps they need to adjust the numbers.

My lvl 46 is getting his STAFF buffed to VR16 Gold 2H stats! It should be 1335 dmg, not 1577...

And this is not on purpose since at level VR1 this is not the case. The bug seems to be present at specific levels or by some other modifier. For example this same character had an identical staff at lvl 44. Guess the damage on that? 1335 as it should be.

A handpicking of stats doesn't mean anything. Things like your passives and available skills/morphs matter a lot.
