Do you think buffing with alchemist set and switching weapons was intentional?

Being able to buff yourself on a "buff bar" with alchemist for a 661 weapon/spell dmg increase then switch to hundings for example to raise that to 961 weapon damage ... Did they think of this? Something kinda tells me they didn't, cus that's some badonkadonk damage increase.

I'm just sayin. If they didn't then they might change that lol.

Only lasts for 15 seconds and potions have a 45 second cooldown. Briarheart gives +450 weapon dmg and, for me at least, is up over half the time. Plus it gives heals and is on both bars because it drops in jewelry. On top of that you'd used up all your equipment slots for 2 sets, with 1 5 pc bonus on each bar. It doesn't seem OP to me.

I like that brairheart set and would like to use it, but for pvp I think it isn't great cus you can't crit damage shields, and there's quite a lot of them out there. Do you use it in pvp? Also, if your using brair and hundings, don't you have some stam regen issues? Or are you a dam woodelf lol

Clever alchimist is a very good set in PVP if you do 1V1 . you take your potion and ... you kill him

I don't PvP much at all and haven't since acquiring the set. I definitely would find a better set up for PvP if I was going to do it on even a somewhat regular basis.

This is fairly common in the game via other methods. One can buff themselves with a master weapon and the change weapons and still retain the benefit m of course one needs to keep re-applying the buff to continue to reap the rewards.

My thought is the devs saw the possibility mentioned by the OP, however there are other gear setups that would bring more weapon damage.
