New class ?

WarCheifLugo
I know there won't be no new classes but I think they should add some new classes to change the gameplay a little like a class focussed on buffs like a bard would be nice , or a dragon born type class with a skill line for thums and such , or like a shape shifting class idk

I like the idea of adding skill lines through DLC, like they have done with TG - and they could do more of this. And hopefully they will add one or two main classes in the (far) future.

    Slight detour:
Aow about they give us class change instead? I'm kinda disappointed they have said again and again that will be adding race change but not class change. I mean really? It makes more sense to change your physical appearance and anatomy, than just changing your class?Hmm...

Another "new class thread"? There are so many already. :D

I still vote for very minor class morphs that get the equivalent of a couple of 5-piece set bonuses based on current events. Even better if they make them Alliance specific (i.e. the Covenant gets a couple morph options, with added strengths/weaknesses, which players could choose or just stay vanilla; the Pact gets a couple of morph options...).

Class change, and pre-leveled characters, are bad for games IMO.

Race change is and has been necessary for a long time given how extreme the rework of combat has been and how important racials are to competitive gamers.

Some new classes would be cool, but they need to polish what they have before they do anything like that.

Game needs a frost class though.

New classes? Well... in that regard, I still think the best way to go about it is something like a certain Class Morph Idea... ;)
...because just adding classes would vex a lot of the old hands, due to "why wasn't this class available back when I made my characters, it would have been such a better fit for this or that character idea??"
While if they did it as sort of class morph with allowing people to choose a fourth class skill line and maybe color-shiftring the effects a bit... everyone could join in with that, thus lexx vexation, and more people happy to diversify their character and, for example, specialize in necromancy or cryomancy instead of just being a sorceror...

I'm cool with adding a 5th class ... well, as long as they are under powered, broken and only given 2 skills worth a darn. Oh wait ... we already have Templars.

(Looking at main page RO complaint threads)

    Never mind. 4 is good.

im interested to see another class, but with the right setup, every current class kinda does everything. so maybe no new classes, but im all for new lines, like if we got a nercromancer line, with ethereal armor, summon bone lord ult, necrotic beam, ect. maybe make them a group you could join, similar to fighters guild / undaunted/ mages guild. same could be done with a vigil of stendar, just dedera hunting missions for exp and a whole new line or actives/passives.

I think there will be new Classes at some point; ZOS pays attention to community feedback and Class changes and requests for new Classes have always popped up.
    Baskin Robbins always finds out.

They'll probably throw in two or three classes in the future. If anything- it'll give more diversity to the game and let people tailor their characters to the roles they've already been trying to achieve. (Some people have been trying to make frost casters, others have been attempting to make necromancers, while others have bren shooting for a "druid" type class). It may alleviate some of the stress from other classes attempting to fulfill those roles... and may lead to a little more balance. Everyone talks about how this game isn't balanced- but I've yet to see an MMO that was truly balanced.
Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

Ah, here speaks one who thinks everyone has the same time to game like they do, I presume?
Not to mention... there is a LOT more to making a decent character then levelling 1-50. All those skill points hiding in cadwells and DLCs... how often do you think a average casual player who gets an average of say, six hours gametime per Week (either a quick hour per day after work, or a half day on sundays, depending on their schedule) can bear doing that through all the content?

I say again, if they add new classes, I would also want to see some class change option. And better then just adding classes would be some way to refit new class flavor to our existing characters... that way, -everyone- can benefit equally, and not just those people who have many hours every day to spend on ESO...

I would love to see a necromancer and warden class. I don't think anyone can disagree that it would be cool if they added those

I find the class structure a little too restricting for my liking. Since I am Skyrim player rather than a typical MMO player.

I'd much prefer to have world or guild skills instead of new classes so that it allows everyone to access them if they want it.

They should just throw in like 4 or 5 more classes and completely lose control of their own game. I'd pay 4500 crowns for that.
