Unreflectable Meteor

Nothing much to say, except that this recent change to meteor, making it unreflectable, and also leaving it undodgeable is one of the worst changes that were made to this game in a long time, and this game experienced a lot of bad changes, most of which are still not as bad as this one in my opinion.
Please revert this mechanic. I'm runing around in cyrodiil and literally everyone is using no ultimate but the meteor. Think about the poor magicka dk's, who are already useless in solo environments, even with the few buffs that were added to their class. zergs are now spamming their unreflectable meteors on the one Magicka DK. It breaks my heart ):

Is anyone else feeling the same way?

Reflecting meteors was was awesome. And reflecting it back was even better. Really going to miss that.

You can still block, but it's just not as cool or exciting.

It's right it shouldn't be reflectable, you don't see people reflecting dawnbraker do you xD still IMO meteor is one of the worst ultis you see it coming, block, problem solved, honesty I don't even see why people love meteor so much I love my dawnbraker of smiting more it hits hard xD and there's no reflecting it or blocking it because it's instant.

Anyone else miss the Meteor into Flaps into Eclipse and watching DKs lay on the ground?

Or eclipse while u see CF incoming?

Or eclipse multiple DKs during 1vx (thats only 1.6, there were basically no stamina DKs back then) and watch them whip themselves to death?

You know that any descent player will CC you just before the meteor drops on you. Dawnbreaker is not reflectable because it is not projectile.

Great change there is no ultimate in the game that is reflect able... Now. But it is funny watching dks hit reflective scales when I hit them with meteor an I imagine what are they thinking...now. Ohhhh

For all of you who think this is a good change, the skill cap on meteor was already really low, and the performance was still very good. They basically took away the last bit of skill you had with that ultimate. It's targetable, it's undodgeable, it has a massive initial hit damage, it has a massive AOE DoT, and now it's also unreflectable, which in a way nerfs dragonknights even more. Magicka dragon knights at-least. the only way to counter meteor now is to cloak it, which means you have to be a nightblade. previously everyone had access to some sort of a reflect that they could use to reflect this very very strong ultimate.
As of now, meteor completely over performs and basically requires no skill. It should be at-least reflectable.

Seems like mine always lands on a dk and comes back to kill me. Problem with having hard hitting meteors xD
BTW if you run s&b and use the reflect ability morph it will volley from them to you and back to them with an additional 25% damage.

I may have lost the double reflect, but my Shooting Star is now invisible. Combat log is the only way I know it actually hit. And its hitting for a lot, so I don't think other people see it either, otherwise they'd block or dodge or something. Seems like a fair trade for the reflect

I know it's terrible here trust me lol no one is organized at all, hardly anyone knows how to play this game. Can just jump into a zerg ball solo and they all start panicking

@Bulljoker how often did you notice people in cyrodiil using an ultimate that isn't Meteor since the thieves guild patch went live? it literally had become a rare sight to see an ultimate in cyrodiil that isn't a Meteor. just this fact should point out that this ultimate is too strong.
Even though this thread isn't about templars, I do have to agree now that you've mentioned it. Radiant Destruction is not acting like an execute at all. It does far more damage than it should before execute range, in addition to it being undodgeable, ranged, and all that.

Meteor is available to any class, if you think it's OP then use it? And it is a meteor afterall, it's not going to be weak and shouldn't be reflectable IMO

What I was already saying on the PTS forum, making Meteor nonreflectable is a change that promotes mindless gameplay as there are now no drawbacks to this incredibly powerful ultimate that cannot even be dodge rolled from.

The reason they gave, to make it more in line with all the other nonreflectable ultimates is both factually wrong (overload can be reflected) and an empty, foolish argument. It fails to take into consideration all of its damage, additional effects, and travel time. It also fails to take into consideration class balance - for instance, I pity the magicka AND stamina DKs upon whom I now unleash this lol-ultimate. It simply does not have enough counters now. The only counter to it is cloak, which just means that you wasted the ultimate, but doesn't actually pose any danger to you either - which it really should, given how powerful it is. When it was still reflectable, you had to think about who you were going to use it on. Not so anymore.

Blocking is not effective enough against this ultimate because there are so many skills that force you to drop block. Blocking was already nerfed way too much anyway, given the no stamina regen thing...

You get hit, cc break and dodge roll at very worst...

If you can't cc break, well then it's already gg for you.

Then there is block.

And you can reflect Overload still.
