magicka nb dps drop

any other magicka nbs suffering a HUGE dps drop since the TG patch? Cannot figure out what has happened, using same gear/rotation etc... but lost about 6k dps since the update. only thing that has changed is I moved my cp from thaumaturge to elemental expert since magicka damage moved..... and yes I tried speccing back to thaumaturge to make sure it was working.... 200k in cp respecs and I cannot for the life of me figure out what happened......

hamgatan✭✭✭✭✭My AOE has gone up but my single target has dropped badly.
I was running through vSC last night pulling 50k on the trash, but single target against Blood Spawn was sub 10k where I could punch 15 before the patch.

Armor pen I has been broke since first pts patch.
They nerfed spell because they will be updating heavy armor next patch. Stealth nerfing now to look like they have actually done something next update.I have no will left to help with lag until high action per minute devs play via a vpn from Asia or Oceania to NA and live stream thier experience of thier actions being declined by the server because they are out of frame.0 -

its funny you mention this because my biggest issue isn't so much the deeps but my actual resource regen has been shithouse since 2.3 dropped. even with drinks i seem to run out of magicka waaaaay too quickly compared to before. might try as i only reset the morphsPC / NA - 1800 CP

No, it was buffed, it never gave % penetration, the tooltip was just wrong. Before the patch it gave 120*level*tooltip%*100 penetration, now it gives more.
With 100points in on VR16 it gave 1980 penetration, it should give more now.

Yep, Erosion and Piercing both got a 167% buff, making them slightly more useful. There was no nerfs to caster NB DPS in terms of damage, only buffs indirectly via the CP changes. However, now that things like Twisting Path and Blockade of Elements cannot proc Siphoning Attacks, they noticed a slight nerf to resource management. However, casters never really needed those abilities to proc SA, as light weaving funnel already proced it at 180% of the cost of 1 funnel, meaning you have infinite resources as long as you maintain offensive.Old member of The Order of Mundus, Mostly Harmless, Hostile, and Genesis Elite.
