you know this video isn't a great example blab, your radiant hit after your prox det did, meaning he was on 1% so he was taking an amazing amount of execute damage + your current max magic
It's sad that everybody is crying nerf already. RD has been this way. And only only does that kinda of damage on players with EXTREMELY low health. Such low health that anything would of killed them at that point. People are only looking at the fat 17k tick on somebody with 1% hp and disregarding everything else involved in such numbers.
This!
The 17K you are seeing is the full 330% increase to damage + critical damage + 20% increase using radiant oppression. You only get that kind of damage at the very lowest portion of health, I would say less than 10%. For execute phases on bosses we're talking 1, maybe 2 full cast before the target is dead. In Pvp for it to tick at 17k it would mean the player's health is so low he is already dead.
There's no doubt it is dangerous now with the Cp changes and not being able to dodge roll out of it. People need to recondition their brains and realize Templars are no longer guaranteed kills, we bite back now.

This is ridiculous. 17K tick on a player, and I don't stack full damage. A friend of mine got a 19k tick. PER TICK? That's absurd, and it's like 1.6 all over again. Radiant destruction shouldn't be dodgeable, but the damage needs to be toned down FOR SURE.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfGHuM3ZKoU
Dude. You have Major Sorcery up, Minor Sorcery up, the guys is at 1% health and it is an execute skill.
It damn well should hit for 17k if you are specced for high dps in that scenario.

Look at your video.
After your last biting jabs hit, Crypta had 9837 health.
Then your prox det exploded.
For 9391 damage.
Which meant Crypta had 446 health. 446 out of 24000. That's 1.8%.
You never liked this skill and always claimed it was OP before ZoS bugged it out. This video is confirmation bias. This is not a fair representation of what it does when fights are in the balance. Youare selectively picking the absolute best possible circumstance and equating it as a common standard.
Edit: See others have pointed this out. Didn't mean to pile on but I do wish people would in general be more cognizant of mitigating factors in the videos/screenshots they post when they ask ZoS to nerf something.
