hoping for a minimum of 100k gold to buy one or some bonus for having eso plus to make it worth having
100k is just BS, i have been playing on, and off since beta, and i have never had more the 30k, at 1 time, GTFO with your rich ass.
Lol...100k isn't rich, by any means in this game. I've been playing since launch on console and have over a mil+ in bank.
Judging from what you say you have in bank, I'd assume you maybe collect 5-10 gold pieces a day.
Maybe we can just get a FEMA camp for the broke players?
Dont assume. And dont rib someone if they dont have as much gold as you do.I bet you PvP.
A whole lot of players dont have 100K.Those who say they do just cant seem to keep from bragging about it.If they do have that much.
It's reality that those people who dont PvP tend to have less gold. And dont tell them to PvP then,if they want the gold.
Housing doesnt have any need to be over priced like that. What some people want is only themselves to have a home. Not the newbies or those who arent so rich.
When a player that has apparently been playing since beta, only has 30k in the bank, that's not my fault. I pvp maybe once a week, but it's pretty easy to make gold in this game, those that don't choose to hold onto any gold, will have empty pockets.
That's why I suggested a fema style camp. Player housing and affordable.
In any game with a currency there will be an economy, people will make more gold than others, that's logic and fact.
I'm not bragging about my gold, it is nice to buy what I want and when I want too though. I know several old guild leaders that have lined their pockets with the weekly donations from guild members and are sitting over 10 mil.
All in all, if someone wants to buy a big ass house and have an episode of cribs eso version, than so be it. ZOS will most likely accommodate for the wealthy and not so wealthy.
As a matter of fact, I didn't. I already had the sentence in mind, including the "Butcher of Torfan" reference. However, I do confess that I never used this word before and thus I didn't know how to spell itnimander99 wrote: »Admit it, you wrote all that just so you could use bourgeois in a sentence.

Ya know, why would you want to comment on the fact that I am a beta player without a lot of gold.It doesnt make me look bad because I dont have as much funds as others do,and I am certainly not complaining about it.I am too busy questing, repairing gear, hunting mats and creating better gear to worry if my coffers are bulging with gold. And I never said you were at fault for having money. You chose to take it that way. I simply said that I think housing should be affordable for low level characters who havent been able to make a lot of money due to the ingame things that do cost money. It takes time to make a huge lump sum of money.
No matter what you say,..it's true.
Also,I do like the fema style of housing and never said otherwise. In fact it would be a nice addition to the game. And I dont have problems with those old guild leaders of yours with 10 mil.
Ive been wondering since player housing is coming, it got me thinking how much will they cost to buy ingame? And that if the houses do come in varieties some may be more expensive than others depending on how luxurious or big one house is, that could be a possibility or maybe the house just comes in one shape rather than different varieties, who know but i am curious. Let Know what u guys think?
Small property, one large room, one storage chest [size 40] = 100k
medium property, one large room, three adjacent smaller rooms, two storage chests [size 80] = 500k
Large property, one large room, three adjacent smaller rooms, one other type room (of which you get to select), three storage chests [size 120] = 1million gp
When selecting a house, you have the option of giving it a theme, based on the races (or if it's easier for ZOS, EP, AD and DC themed)
easy as *** ***; give the job to me, i'll do it.
You must be rich.Hehe.
Those prices wont get those houses sold, but for the small property,if that. Most players dont have that much cash.
This would take away houses but for a small percentage of players.Housing should be a fun incentive for players, not a hindrance.I mean, what's the point in adding housing if it is only for a small percentage of the players?I hope around 75k for the smallest of smallest shags and 100 million for the great, epic mansions.
My reply: Why so much? Why do you guys want only rich people to have homes?
I have never met anyone ingame with a million in gold.I know there are some, but they a re definitely NOT the majority.
I'd love it if it was like it is in MW.
The homes could be where you type on the console window (we dont have that now so it would be in chat) a code that sends you to your home.In MW it's an empty indoor home.A very large and well set out place, with many rooms. You can add whatever decorations you want to. It isnt a mod or anything.Just a blank space of a nicely made indoor home, with arches. Like ToddTest, but empty.
And people talk about how Skyrim let you place things. No,you could fling things off your hands and they were very annoying to have to try and move around. In MW you just dragged it from your inventory to where you wanted it and it was easily manipulated into place. Just like that.
Then they idiotically changed it when they released Skyrim.
I hope when housing does come to ESO, it isnt so overpriced that the majority of the players cannot afford them.
There's no reason why they should be priced for those who have millions of gold anyway. It's silly.
Why so much?
75k is not that much. If you put your mind to it you can achieve it in 7 days without any work (thieving).
There should be a great feat of strength for those who save enough to splurge on a mansion. We also need some more gold sinks in the game.
Why is it any different than those who can afford cool looking mounts? That is unfair too and blocks out players too.
At least gold keeps it within the game itself.
You still didnt answer my question: Why so much.
You went right by that.
Granted Mansions should be spendy,as they would be in real life. However, asking so much for a simply shack isnt a good thing.I never said anything about "fair".I simply pointed out that most people dont have 75k and up to just throw out there.
You can buy "cool looking mounts" in the crown store for pittance. No one is locked out there. You want the mount" Buy some more crowns if you dont have enough.Homes ingame for a ton of gold will just be a sad waste when new players arent able to buy them. Personally,I hope we buy the homes in the store, not ingame. That's just my own humble opinion on the issue.
And just because you have a paltry 75K lying around in your bank, dont assume tons of others do.

@Volkodav Oh this old fallacy again, really? "you didnt answer my question". I did. You failed to perceive the answer to your question in my reply.
Go back and re-read it and hopefully it will be more clear to you what my answer was. If you can't figure it out then, sorry, I don't want to waste my time explaining because you are not listening anyway.

i wish adoption also became available from buying a house like in hearthfire dlc in skyrim. And the windows omg i never liked the windows in this game, for my house i would like a see through window. Like housing in gta 5 many players can live in one house but are put into their own instances and i think tht could work.

Curious to know if all the sudden the woodlands will be invaded, turn into the suburbs and Spriggans soon become a protected species!
Personally I am a poor player. Not much for grinding, learning to steal or whatever else to get my hands on gold. Takes too much time. Rather spend that time in a dungeon or Cyrodiil. Though I could definitely use some gold considering the freaking scam that TEMPERING ALLOY has become. Just say NO to 10k Alloy!

Was player housing mentioned recently? I didn't think there had been any official commentary recently.
