true, but wrecking blow is a lot easier to miss with, and costs more. SA is faster, more sustainable, and harder to dodge.

SA is one of, if not the best single target stamina ability in the game. It's instant cast, has high damage, an armor debuff, a stun AND it procs the resistance buff passive. Let's not pretend this is a "medium strength attack". Any other stamina class would die for such a strong ability. The only reason WB may be better than SA is because of burst in PvP, but SA is way faster. I much rather run SA than WB.
ehh...next who dont know how to read with understanding
without hide(so ganging) you have no stuns, on stamina build its so hard to use cloak only for this stun with keeping sobe buffs etc, you have enought magica with magica regen only on magica build to spam cloak only for this stun
Kidding? Cloak is very easy for stam to spam enough to use the stun...0 -

My surprise attack hits for 10 k and is spammable
lol, my also but agains noob players or agains players with bad distributed CP but also againt these player me wreck blow with empower hitting them for 17-18k.
normal player with good distributed CP taking about 8-9k from my surprise attack and 16k from wreck blow

you omit that fact that its inflicting major armor debuff, and giving you the major armor buff from shadow passives to you, its instant cast and can be animation cancelled, just having it slotted gives 3% more health. from stealth it sets enemies off balance which is a CC, and your heavy attacks hit harder, and you can get empowering from ambush. It can also be used on a DW set up giving it a massive boost as a heavy attack hits twice (double the procs) and you can still use it and get an extra set piece slot to add more weapon damage. eg. 3 agility, 5 hunding, 3 Night mother, 1 kena. And you can run daggers increasing crit by 5% which in its own right is a 2.5% damage buff (though mace+sword probably better)
but sure, i guess empowered WB spam is the Fotm, why not.

wearing light armor, even with a shield and one heavy and medium piece, and even with defending and reinforced trait(s), will still allow enemies to hit you for 10K easier than if you were in medium and heavy armor. I have not even put mark target and the armor debuff from SA into the equation.
im not saying it does not hit for high damage on everyone in medium and heavy armor, but wearing LA will give you low physical resistance. I still take 2-4K hits from SA and WBs even while blocking with a shield with DK and shield passives on my LA character, for example

the morph of fear known as mass hysteria, snares targets for around 50% for 4 seconds. Fear is also unblockable, and is a good way to break blocks. Shades is good for kiting people, both are great skills you should consider using.Edited by Cody on February 27, 2016 5:33PM0
