That "supreme power" is called "yourself".
But then why do I play? why do I bother to get motifs, materials and etc? if I just have to ask to others to do the things for me, when I can, but I can not, because a supreme power don't let me do it.

You couldnt become a werewolf without Bloodmoon either. And even full daedric set of armor was behinf a paywall (well, if you dont consider killing certain npc)
And Oblivion... Those awesome golden saint/dark seducer items were only available for those who bought Shivering Isles, can you imagine that.
Skyrim wasnt any better of course. Some of those neat features, like being able to build a house, become a vampire lord or visit Solstheim were locked behind paywalls.
P.S. On a serious note, ESO base game has more content than Skyrim.
But you can ask other to craft for you in this game, which lets you access gear that would normally be from a DLC! Wouldn't that mean this game is a step to a brighter and better future of non-p2w for TES games?KoshkaMurka wrote: »Oh, TES has always been awfully p2w. Law of Julianos, but when I checked the location is in... Wrothgar?
I canceled my subscription the week before, because I realize I'm paying for a service I don't share, but now I see, that if I don't do it I can not be in the same conditions of people who does.
Was not the ideology of the crown store: "pay not to win"? but it seem, that it is "pay to be better" right? pay to have better gear? better drops? better chances to craft all the new gears?
Thanks zenimax, now I have another reason to don't even login anymore. This is just disgusting.

Then maybe stop being a freeloader? Subscribe or buy the DLC. The whole world isn't here to pay for your gaming.
...I'm not using the DLC content...
