Law of Julianos, but when I checked the location is in... Wrothgar?

I canceled my subscription the week before, because I realize I'm paying for a service I don't share, but now I see, that if I don't do it I can not be in the same conditions of people who does.

Was not the ideology of the crown store: "pay not to win"? but it seem, that it is "pay to be better" right? pay to have better gear? better drops? better chances to craft all the new gears?

Thanks zenimax, now I have another reason to don't even login anymore. This is just disgusting.

    It's in a DLC zone... you lose DLC access when you stop subbing. It's actually better to sub for a few months, then cancel and use the free crowns to buy the DLC. The xp bonus from plus is not worth it.

    Yeah, you can just find someone to craft it for you.
    And every DLC clearly states - available for the subs, can be purchased via Crown Store.
    Players who paid for Orsinium do not get 'better gear', 'better drops' (??!!), nor do they get CHANCES to craft all the new gears.

    You can't expect to have the entire game for free. Julianos is obtainable by everyone and anyone, just like any other crafted set.

    Is a lie, is a way to say, you don't need this, but if you don't, you are not the same as others. There are some things I can accept I will not enjoy if I don't pay.

    But if the ideology of "pay not to win" is pure, they should not conditionate the players to don't have access to some things like crafting stations... because crafting is something I'm doing in my own, I'm not runing a dungeon in a DLC to get X set.

    I'm not using the DLC content, I'm doing it by my own, I craft my sets, I'm not runing DLC dungeons, or doing PVE, or etc...

    Do you get the enormeus difference???

    They are letting the people who don't pay every DLC in unfavorable circunstances, some times even in disadvantage and every DLC will be a little bit more and more.

    But then why do I play? why do I bother to get motifs, materials and etc? if I just have to ask to others to do the things for me, when I can, but I can not, because a supreme power don't let me do it.

    You subscribe for a service, that being access to all dlc.

    You stop subscribing, you stop receiving the service.

    Only you get tokens (crowns) while you subscribe, and you can use these tokens to get permanent access to that service.

    If you ever subscribed to anything else in your life, or even if you ever paid rent, you should know that the way ESO does it is pretty costumer-friendly. It would be like if Netflix gave you "Netflix points" for your subscription that could be used to buy series so you could keep watching them if your sub elapsed, or if your landlord gave the equivalent of the price of your rent in tokens that let you buy the apartment after you paid for enough months.

    Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Command: Do the thing.

    Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
    Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
    Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
    Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
    Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
    Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
    Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
    Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
    Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
    Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

    P.S. On a serious note, ESO base game has more content than Skyrim. ;)
    But you can ask other to craft for you in this game, which lets you access gear that would normally be from a DLC! Wouldn't that mean this game is a step to a brighter and better future of non-p2w for TES games? :smiley:

    Clearly the OP has never played another MMO because if he had he'd realize that EVERY MMO has DLCs that one must have in order to get some sort of advancement- whether it be gear or leveling. I'd say ESO is probably the LEAST of those in that, you don't NEED the DLC crafted gear in order to progress so I think the OP is confusing NEED with WANT... as a player doesn't NEED Julianos gear to be successful in ESO and therefore is not P2W.

    But you want access to the DLC area to craft a DLC-introduced gear set? I'm guessing you spent your crowns on something trivial, like an annoying pet...or a super-sweet mount, when they could have been used to grant you access to the area with the gear sets you want to craft?

    Regardless, if you ask in Zone (any Zone, TBH) or in Guild Chat, I'm sure someone will craft it for you.

    This is also a way for people to make some Gold on the (don't get my started) terrible Guild Traders. Craft sets that people don't have access to.

    You're thought process...isn't good or accurate.
    I'm not sure if this is due to listening to the media or other gamer and gaming sites vs. reading the developers info but the game removed the requirement of a sub to allow different types of customers to either
    1. Continue with the sub model for DLC access and as a bonus they get other rewards to use in the crown shop (real $ items)
    2. use the crown shop to buy DLC as they desire similar to the modern DLC market place of some other games.

    I'm not sure why you have the mindset you do, but please go to the source prior to being upset which seems based on inaccurate assumptions. Content (in this case crafting stations) placed in DLC, are subject to having access to that DLC BUT you can purchase items created by others who have DLC and use those items without purchasing it yourself from a trade or guild trader from another player.

    I have been asked to craft the set by friends. All they do is fork over their mats, I run over and craft it then come back and trade it to them.

    That does sound scary how I wrote that. Obviously, only hand mats to someone you trust. I'm not that kinda person whose gonna take 600 Silks and 300 Rub ingots and peace out. But it can happen if you talk with the wrong person. So word of caution to you OP. I am one of those people who understands not everyone has the money set aside for a subscription or can buy the DLC. Cause, if the person I was dealing with had the DLC, I'd prefer they be next to me while I craft the goods and not just be somewhere else. When you put that much time into getting the mats--then giving it to some dude to craft your new baby, you want everything to go perfectly.

    Yeah, that's one of the downsides of DLC's but understandable that there will be things you can't get unless you buy it. They do have to offer incentives for people to spend the money on it after all. So far my wife and I have really enjoyed all of the new DLC content and don't regret any purchases.
