There should be no easy hard counters to ultimates. It is an ultimate, for heaven's sake!
As many "pro-reflecters" pointed out, people don't use this ultimate because it has an easy counter. So eliminating that brings it on par with the other abilities like the beloved bat swarm and dawnbreaker.
It CAN be dodgerolled. Timing is everything. The DoT is bugged, but ZOS are working on it.
Nightblades can still cloak out of it, which is a bit ridiculous. DK's can block the clearly-telegraphed impact and move out of the way. Sorcs can shield, Ball of Lightning is out of the question. Templars can... I dunno. There are still ways to mitigate a meteor, but now you actually have to accept it's an ultimate and therefore a threat.

DK's have always been the dominant class in this game it's funny how DKs are complaining because they want to be stronger.

I wanted to finally drop my resto staff on my Sorc in the coming patch again. But without double reflects and with unreflectable meteors no other weapon skills are worth it...

No, just make it on par with other ultimates. Nerfing the snare from 85% to 50% is a good start.

Really ? On par with the other ultimate ? You know that's ZOS excuses too. Thing is overload is still reflectable dragons leap and death stroke can be dodge and not only that but side stepped to avoid and dragon knight standers and nova can be easily avoid by taking 3 steps in any direction and they don't snare soul assault can be broken by going behind a wall or dodge rolling backwards once.

No Meteor was already on par with every other ultimate in the game being reflectable now it's the "I win" ultimate which I am calling for it's nerf after a week or 2 on live because of all the spam players are gonna be doing cause hey it's a I win ultimate.

Don't even say block the DOT and snare still go through and yes the targeted player may have been able to block it but what about the 2 or 3 guys next to them ? What is every body just supposed to have block up 24/7 now ?

Moving 3 steps in any direction applies to meteor too. The only difference is you should block the initial hit. The 2 or 3 guys next to the person getting nailed by meteor are responsible for blocking for themselves, and anyone caught in a meteor simply because they weren't looking at the 3-second broadcast prior to impact has only themselves to blame.

Honestly, I don't care if it can be reflected or not. Meteor hasn't been the death of me for months, and I don't even bother reflecting it, I just move out of the way of the aoe and block the initial impact. Stamina builds can easily block and move. Magicka builds can easily mitigate the magic damage or heal through it.

Destro/Resto sorcerers always had to deal with meteor being 'non-reflectable', meaning that once you see it coming, it's coming no matter what. You block and move away from the AOE.

Now all other classes will have to do the same and there's no problem there at all. Templars cannot purge it anymore, dks cannot reflect it and only NBs can cloak it so far. Meteor on its own (ice comet, more damage morph) does not do any more damage than a dawnbreaker, and dawn is instant and much more unpredictable.

a sorcerer can stack damage shields and literally mitigate all of that damage. a DK cannot do this, a NB wont be cloaking it if they are marked (which is going to be an extremely common occurrence) at this rate the only other class with a good consistent counter would be the templar, with self heal spam. "block and move out of the AOE" if you dont use a shield, say goodbye to your stamina. Most meteor casters will pummel you with ranged attacks, and your stamina will be halfway or almost gone when the meteor comes. Meteor is either a free CC or a free big stam drain, it is not as weak as many make it out to be. why free? because it is VERY hard to dodge. I have roll dodged it before, but it requires very precise timing, and I was still hit by the snare and DoT. it is a powerful ability that will have almost no good counters come next month.

dawnbreaker is more deadly though, that I agree with, especially for vampires and werewolves. I 1v1ed a werewolf a few weeks ago and tore him apart solely due to dawnbreaker. it was glorious :D

Its an effing meteor........Did everyone forget that? what the hell lol

yes, and people in light armor are able to take direct hits from giant swords and not end up on their backs bleeding out, and people can survive direct hits from catapults and balistae. Realism is no argument, this is a fantasy video game with magic and superhuman characters. If this game was realistic, the class's themselves would not exist.

Of course this could all change later on, for all we know, humans are secretly Saiyans:D

I think DKs can defend nicely from stamina drain attempts by simply casting scales when they see meteor coming. Plus they will be making their opponents laugh at the same time since the other guy will think the first one has no clue meteor cannot be reflected anymore. :)
