Dragonknight

My main is a DK and always has been. Since Update 5 it has been a stamina DK. This update has done nothing to change that.

I'm going to play all of them because I enjoy the diversity of playing different classes. I have a v16 Templar and Nightblade. Now working on my baby sorcerer but haven't put too much time into it because frankly running through the same old zones is getting a bit stale. Firing up a new single player game for a brief recharge. I haven't played a DK yet but that is one of my goals eventually.

The changes to any class really don't impact me that much. I'm a pretty darned casual player and although I read various class guides, I've never been one to strictly min/max. If one character starts to become less fun to play, I switch over to another. So far, my magical Templar is a beast in PvE content and I've had a great deal of fun with her rounding up as much as I can and burning it all down. If it becomes a struggle after the patch, I'll probably try a magical based nightblade which I heard is fun.

One thing I've learned with MMOs are the cyclic changes. Classes get nerfed, classes get buffed. Things are always in motion and frankly that is why I've played numerous alts. It makes a game much more fun for me.

Not sure yet. Maybe Wizard or Sorceress. Tamer or Ranger could be fun. Berserker isn't really my typical thing but could be interesting.

I have always played a Sorc - I just hope pet AI improves because if it still sucks they are unusable in PvP and end game PvE.

I am sure PvP will still be 75% NBs.

@HoloYoitsu Low level non-vet (Blackwater Blade) PvP performs differently from Vet campaigns like Azura's Star. So yeah, I'm serious about my lvl19 templar being extremely viable. Try it yourself I guess lol.

I don't have the right to give my opinion on low level non-vet PvP, based on my experiences with my lvl 19 Templar? I never claimed to know what playing a V16 Templar was like, or exactly what changes need to be made. What I DO know is that I have killed many good players, and survived many ganking attempts due to strong battle-scaling.

Hybrid builds are viable when you're a LOW LEVEL and using Willows Path+Stamina/Magicka drinks. As I level up the Hybrid build it'll become much more Stamina based, since Hybrids aren't viable in higher levels.

As a "long-time" player it surprises me you haven't rolled a new character to try something like this yourself. Looks like it's easier to just bash people who arent running builds mimicking the meta now.

I was going to switch from healing templar to nightblade but then I read about the cloak change. Lol templar and nightblade are so screwed. I'm going DK. Don't know build or even trinity role yet but already level 29.

I created and leveled a Dragonknight a few months back, very powerful and sustainable build that will only get more fun and powerful in the next Update. However, I rushed Sulac the Wanderer to VR16 so I am not as attached...

Arturus Amitis I am taking my time to 96% every zone, so he is likely to become my new main save Templars making a miraculous bounce back.

I love BWB as much as the next guy but we all must grow up at some point. As in we won't be level 20 forever. The end game is V16 and balance in a game has to be done based on end game because that's where most people want to be.

I played my second templar though BWB and very much enjoyed my self and dislike how my V16 templar doesn't perform as well.

The only characters I currently have of any relevance is a DK tank and a Magicka Sorc. I eventually want one of every class.

Right now I'm levelling a Magicka DK. It was either a Magicka DK or Nightblade but to be honest every man and his dog is playing nightblade at the moment, so I thought I'd switch it up a bit.
