Summon Unstable Familiar: The pets summoned from this ability and its morphs can no longer be dismissed by holding down the button. The pet can now be dismissed by removing the buff from your Active Effects window.
Summon Winged Twilight: The pets summoned from this ability and its morphs can no longer be dismissed by holding down the button. The pet can now be dismissed by removing the buff from your Active Effects window.

✭✭✭✭✭You have to go the the nearest temple and pay the dude there to give you a quest that you need to do then return to the first dude and give him some stuff so he can purge you of the pet. Only takes half an hour or so...be warned.

Might have to wait until you die to auto-desummon, or get out of combat and remove it from your bar. It looks like the bonuses to pets are being paired with more or less having to keep them up all of the time rather than just summoning and dismissing them on the fly.RAGUNAnoOne wrote: »Can you even do this on console?

✭✭This is one of those changes that I really truly deeply feel shows that certain people making the decisions at ZoS do not play the game.
I mean creating a summon that can't be de-summoned easily... what the fudge!!
They could make everybody happy & make them useful with one VERY simple change....
Make them a time bound summon like in Skyrim!!!
You'd only need it one bar... have it be insta-cast, last60 seconds / or until it dies (Which in many situations is less than 60seconds! lol).

I hope so as far as I know I see no way to deactivate buffs manually heck we can't even reload UI if we need to last thing I want is to be unable to sneak in PvP because you or someone else has a pet revealing you position and can't turn it off.PS4 NA
