Stamina sorc balanced after one simple fix

    Stamina classes get amazing utility in pvp with magic
    NB- cloak,fear
    DK- scales,talons
    Temp- heals(after this buff) and buffs/purify
    Sorcs- nothing

    Sorcs problem is their main class defense is shields which atm can only work if their magic based.

    Simply solution to simple problems - give stam sorcs a shield that scales off max stam

    Now before everyone panics lets consider this people only pick hardened ward, stamina cant be stacked to the godly numbers magic can( dont think thiers any1 with 40k stam) stam shields wont be as big as magic 10-14k depending on cp dumped into bastion which means 5-7k shields pvp which is only enough to eat a wb,frag,suprise attack with magic being low and shields costing 3500magic 3shields max before magic pool drained.

    TL:DR-Give stam sorcs a stam shield morph not as big as magic shields, think this would be a good magic utility dump

    You have to consider, that wepdmg can be stacked higher than spelldmg so it's kind of equal. And btw...My stamsorc has 41k Stam (purple v16 equip), most other Stambuilds have around 38k...40k Stam. But i agree...magicka builds usually have way higher Ressource pools but lack spelldmg.

    Won't happen if you look carefully. Every class has an unique minor buff to provide:

    Templar: minor sorcery
    DK: Minor brutality
    Sorc: Minor prophecy
    NB: Minor Savagery

    So it's balanced for group content. To get all buffs, you have to get every class at least once in your group. Great design in my opinion. I hope they don't change it.

    @blur I don't doubt that you hit really hard, but even of you are able to combat dks with your damage, why do I have to go all in damage to fight dks? An underlying problem I see is that there is no build diversity.

    I notice a difference without boundless as well, but boundless even with full impen, heavy healing, adequate resource regen and defense can't keep up with more than 2 to maybe 3 players at a time solo depending on the quality of opponent (I have tried this). I have watched dks, nightblades, templars, and mag sorcs hold against groups between 5 and 10 competitively because they have the utilities to fight multiple opponents.

    Templars have strong healing and aoe damage, dragon knights have alright healing/great damage redux and aoe damage, nightblades can stealth and have insane burst damage, and mag sorcs can shield spam and use daedric mines.

    Stam sorcs have zero defensive group fighting utilities.

    I don't disagree with you on the 1vX. It won't happen against quality players unless I get the drop on them and insta-gib one of them. If they don't know how to handle my playstyle (constantly moving like @xael) then I might be able to last. However a nice unified front of skilled players will surely wreck me. Though I find this the case for my DK and NB as well. Let's be honest, the only 1vX domination is against newbs and people who are not playing well.

    Where you and I disagree is when you say we (stam sorcs) "have zero" defensive abilities. We certainly don't have "zero" however what we have doesn't do as well as others. Having "zero" would mean you don't have Boundless Storm, Bound Arm, Crit Surge, and Streak. Moreover part of our defense (suffice it to say) is our strong offense. My playstyle gives me wiggle room in that department. However if a player is keen to my playstyle and knows how to shut it down, I get put down with authority :(

    Defensive Rune could be given a 1sec stun+ the disorient because if I have Boundless Storm up, it doesn't even CC them unless they are outside the lightning AOE.

    I really want options besides Bound Armaments and Atronach to slot to get my regen to a proper place.
