In my opinion I think there should be more, and a lot of it looks cool but more armor is never bad .

True. I think some of the armor looks amazing, but it takes out so much when you see 10 other people with the same stuff in one town t(#_#t)

True enough. that's why we all have to get the draugr polymorph. that way even if we all look the same we can just say; the draugr have awoken and taken over Tamriel!.

Though we would have to figure out why all the draugr in Cyrodiil have gone insane and started killing each other...... such a mystery....

There are never enough options! Tons of styles that still could be made...

    That said...

I really wish they would make less costumes, and more styles available for crafting instead, so people could have those options for finding their own -individual- look instead of being costume-d. Even if it was incomplete crafting styles... Nedic as "armor only" style? Yes! Necromancer as "light armor only" style? Nord Hero as "heavy armor only" syle? Oh, yeeees! Et cetera...

Slightly misleading poll, as you ask as your thread title "Do you think there is enough armour in this game?" and then add inside the poll "And do you think it is balanced and cool looking?.

You are essentially asking three separate questions:
      1. Is there enough armour? IMO yes - they add new armour with every new DLC, both craftable and non-craftable, so as long as they keep making DLCs we will get new armours.
      2. Do you think it is balanced? Well, yeah. I don't exactly understand this part of your question. There's armour for all races, plus additional rare armours.
      3. Is it cool looking? This is a slightly useless question, as this is a very subjective view. Just because I find an armour "cool looking" doesn't mean you do. It's a matter of very personal opinion

I'm honestly tired of all the female characters getting the cool, revealing armor and men... NOTHING. We have options to add tattoo to our male characters and then given nothing really cool to show them off. How about an awesome battle harness, my male characters have ABS for a reason, but can never show them off- except in the Sand-Kissed Salwar (which doesn't look too bad on a male)- but it still isn't designed for a male. Not sure what it is with so many MMOs giving women the sexy, revealing clothing and the men nothing but bulky, skin-covering junk. They seem to forget that even in our own human history, that the most feared warriors were the berserkers- who often went into battle completely naked! So clearly there are examples of fearsome warriors wearing little (or no) armor in battle. Perhaps ZOS can stop being so sexist and start providing revealing gear for men as well!

@ADarklore those are costumes though, and not armor.

Tbh. it's getting to the point of clutter, we have so many motifs and will get new ones soon. We also have a long list of outdated useless sets that nobody uses anymore... I'd rather see them taken out of the game and replaced with new useful sets.

We have a style for each race, with options for light, medium and heavy as well as different material tiers. Then we the cultural stuff (daedric, primal, barbaric, etc) for armor as well. Between those and AvA, trial and crafted sets we don't really need more armors.

What's missing is an appearance tab option that allows us to wear lower level armors without gimping ourselves.
What's missing are good-looking male costumes.

Would like to see more craftable armor styles added into ESO. Adding in new costumes and such is nice, but a lot of those costumes would be better if they were craftable styles.

Cool looking ? Yes the new stuff but the original 10 races styles need cleaned up so bad like Nord style or Argonian style. As for balanced well incase you haven't been roaming around the forums heavy armor at this point and soon to be in U9 Thieves guild update is just completely out dated and under powered to the point of why bother.

Some new Motifs would be good.

Also, is there a way to find out which Mercenary motif chapters my character knows? I can see in my Journal which Glass, Xivkyn & Dwemer motif chapters I know... but not Mercenary!

I finally got all the dwemer motifs ... LOVE the look of dwemer armour but the dwemer frames are so slow to collect.

When you see skyrim modded armor it makes you think of how much they could add and what cool stuff they could do.

I think more horns on helmets and shoulders need to be added, horns always look cool. Also some more wings set in the armor.

Does anyone think they could add too much?. me personally I don't think there is such thing as too much armor lol

In my opinion there are enough armour sets in the game, however not enough of them are usefull. Would be nice to have more sets scaled to v16 and all those sets buffed, that have a cool sounding bonus, but are so bad, that nearly noone is using them.

Yep... but more would be good. But it's "enough". Now ZOS just needs to let players craft in any "version" of each style... as suggested here: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/121362/master-crafter-new-perk-for-crafting/p1
