Vicious can be a game changer for damn zerg.

I cant wait watching "noobs" stacking crown or who ever while we trigger vicious with dawn breaker etc..
And no emps or high CP required for suicide squads.

This will make people spread on a long run to get farmed by Marksmen and Lekis. >:)

i pretty sure, vic will be a awesome set, but i think the dmg proc is a Little to hight 15k on a blue item, i guess it goes up to 17k on a legendary. 17/2 = 8,5k

You are not the only one who kills people in a zerg, your procs add up.
We already wipe zergs with 3 people , with some survivors, not gonna happen with the extra dps on killing blow in zergs now. Good Bye all HP left overs.

    Marksman set looks interesting...

It does except it's stamina recovery bonus bits. If the set bonuses for the 2 and 3 piece added stamina then awesome. Seems to be recovery is the name of the game with the Stamina sets.

Do you know are there jewelries for the pvp sets?
Yes. There were rings from rewards of the worthy mails and the new monster merchant had necklaces for sale.

    Finally something good from ZoS.

Rewards probs sturdy or well fitted!!!! We'll see.

Maybe you didn't notice most of this thread is dated February 4th ... same day as when the initial PTS patch came out. So, the info obtained then is likely going to be incomplete. Since then, I'm sure Deltia and other posters (including myself) have been doing PTS testing in other areas.

Most everyone knows what the missing sets are now ... and the normal information sources for armor sets will be updated in due time.

In the meantime, @NerfPlease, I encourage you to post the missing sets here in the thread ... since you have interest in the topic and the info would be complete.

Really cool sets IMO. I like when I want to get all the gear and try it, big improvement from the Wrothgar sets, again IMO.

A couple issues come to mind:

Tava's Favor has gimped stats in comparison to all the other sets not to mention this is a medium armor set that has magic recovery.

Alkosh, there is no cooldown listed in the tooltip. Correct me if I am mistaken, but I can synergize a Nova and then immediately synergize talons right? If not please disregard. If so, this set is way strong if the DoT can stack with itself. Has anyone tested this set on PTS?

Vicious Death, a set this cool and it is pretty much limited to magic builds....seriously? Why cant it be built more like the clever alchemist set and have bonuses viable for all builds??

    Cheers!

@Lafer Agreed! I do hope they buff Moondancer or it's really a step in the wrong direction from the Willpower/Julianos meta.

Like usualy you expect gears from raid to be the end game gears for pve there is no way thoses set will rempalce any of the current meta people have right now 5% of extra damage is extremely low. id rather go for 1k magicka or 128 spell power on every monster then a 5% extra damage on boss.there is no way this set will beat 5 julianos 3 willpower and 2 kena even in the best condition possible..

That first set is clearly meant for tanking for its 2nd, 3rd and 4th bonuses. But the 5th piece bonus makes no sense in tanking business lol

It's a PvP set man, for PvP tanks
I know. Still does nothing for the player. It just helps his group.

Uhhh...yeah. Because that is what a PVP tank does.

Sometimes I think ZOS just puts traits and set effects in a big bingo tumbler and they just crank and pull *** out randomly in between sips of diet coke and cruising youtube.

Outside of Viscous Death and Eternal Hunter for PVP, I dont see much practical application of these in a competitive sense for PVE and definitely not PVP. Lunar Bastion and Clever Alchemist might be interesting but Moondancer is super clunky with way too many moving parts to be effective even for a healer, clearly Spell Power Cure, Krags and Combat Physician are much better alternatives. Dont even get me started on how they ruined sets like Underwhelming Mage and Scathing Mage which are fracking terrible. Those sets are found in the hardest content of the game and are near useless when you can craft the best sets in five minutes with a little research, backwards logic if i've ever seen it. Not to mention those hard earned sets dont look any different then the style trait they represent, so any inkling of variety or diversity is out the window - talk about phoning it in. I would suggest ZOS get their shite together, plenty of solid mmo's are on the way atleast for us inferior console players, either that or they may be facing another round of layoffs.

Do the pve sets stack? Like if 2 of 12 in a group wear Hircines, is stamina recovery then 20% greater?
