ZOS_GinaBruno any word yet on whether you're going to remove the pesky auto-porting, or at least allow players to cancel it?

My feedback on the specific points is that the changes are quite nice. And incentives will help people take another look at the tool. However, people being .. people .. you are going to see something ugly when this goes live.

    General Feedback:
People are now going to have more incentive to use the tool, and with a reward their self goal will be to get that reward as fast as possible. We already have some issues with newbies and lowbies being scaled in a way that either prevents completion if the whole group was too low or makes the dungeons take longer if there is only 1 or 2. Already many people simply abandon group if they spot someone with a native level lower than what they think will get them a goal of quick completion. You are going to see a LOT more of that.

Now I have leveled a bit, and my lowbies will come in with set armor and a couple hundred CPs. I may not hurt completion that much anymore on my alts. Won't matter. People dump by native level number. Expect a lot more posts of "Why was I sent to the dungeon with a group of only 2-3 people by non vets?". The number of times I've joined a guildies group that was under 40 & 200 CPS b/c people bailed on them to help them finish has been long even before this. Expect, people to hammer the tool until they get a fast group. You incentivized using the tool, but not helping the groups formed by it. It can be hard to incentivize that. I suggest you do some more scaling bumping specifically for characters under L40 and with less than 200 CPs in PvE dungeons only. And I have no characters that match that combined requirement anymore. Then players have no reason to repeatedly bail on them to reach their own goals, which are now more important due to incentives.

Does anyone know if it is possible to visit Dragonstar Arena and Craglorn trials with people from different alliances?

@pandoraderomanus Not yet, but they are working on cross-alliance trials for a future update.

@Enodoc My DC guildmates went to MoL with AD person, so only MoL can be visited by cross-alliance groups?

@pandoraderomanus That's a bug, left in PTS by accident. ZOS are testing it internally and didn't completely remove the functionality. It shouldn't be possible yet.

    Edit to add quote:

    Hey Folks,

Cross-faction Trials are not currently implemented. We’d suggest you avoid setting up a group that way until we message it's ready and available. That said, as you can see, some of that back end work has been done but it is still in internal testing at the moment.

    Thanks for the feedback!

Oh yes, @ZOS_GinaBruno another good way to make the GF more popular would be to allow players to get the silver/gold quests directly through the tool, instead of forcing them to go to Wayrest/Whatever first.

Use case: Player logs in; no matter where he is or what he is doing, he can go into the GF, signup for the daily gold and silver and continue what he is doing until a group is found for one or the other. Convenient, fast, fun. Just as a game is supposed to be.
