    is this just me??? i'm lagging like crazy, can't do abilities, nor swap weapons everything is so messed up? and disconnected..

    was able to get in after many many attempts- after 1 minute, 999+ ping abd kicked out- not even in cyro- they broke it ...

    5 mins of gameplay and i got kicked in Daggerfall. Daggerfall! its not the most populated area. even in DC.

    Doesn't say anything, just takes me back to login screen, then attempts at relogging back in are followed by error.

    Edit-I've successfully logged back in again. Keep trying I think.

    I keep logging in, getting back lag and kicked and then repeating. The message this time was that I was kicked due to excessive messaging? Wtf

    i can login fine.. but i'm having such a bad lagg not even in PvP.. this is unacceptable.

    silly question, but how does one find out their ping? I know how to get the FPS in the command box but I see people mention ping a lot but not sure how it is generated.

    Somewhere in the settings (I believe it's interface, not sure though) you can choose to display FPS and ping (usually lag).

    I see it in the Wykkyd Toolbar Add-on.

    I use an add-on but you can also turn it on in the settings

    Well, this sounds like the server cannot put up with the requests coming from your client - it fills a queue with those meanwhile and when the queue cannot be worked on in time, it will eventually be full and then it will kick you out to free the queue and get rid of the load - this is exactly how I would program this as well on the load control side - so this might be the reason for the error message you get. It is not really referring to you messaging excessively, but your client.

    The reason why the server cannot put up with the requests is in shade of course - this could have many reasons.

    I see it in the Wykkyd Toolbar Add-on.

    You do not need an add-on for this, it is in the settings - you can see frame rate and latency in a small label, which you can shift to wherever you want it on the screen, it is even lockable. I guess it can be enabled in the interface settings.
