Well, this sounds like the server cannot put up with the requests coming from your client - it fills a queue with those meanwhile and when the queue cannot be worked on in time, it will eventually be full and then it will kick you out to free the queue and get rid of the load - this is exactly how I would program this as well on the load control side - so this might be the reason for the error message you get. It is not really referring to you messaging excessively, but your client.
The reason why the server cannot put up with the requests is in shade of course - this could have many reasons.
