I like the hip and butt flaps, different strokes different blokes, as long as its an option I think would be great.

    More options = Happier Gamers!

Oh and please please could we have an option for skirts or breeches just like we have the option for robes or jerkins?

YES! I am so bloody tired of the Daedric "skirt" which is the only skirt option we have. We should have the option for pants or skirt on every single motif!

I do think like someone said up above that they need to be part of the belt peice not the top armor it self. For one we should get to choose which flaps we want to wear. It would be better and I would not have to see them on every robe armor piece I see.

A toggle would be nice, a separate one for side and front pieces might be cool though because on some armors I like one and not the other.

I wear Ancient Elf robes on my main, and the front flap clips through the robe during many animations and the side flaps float oddly when my he runs; I'd be happy to toggle that to get rid of the clipping (though I think ZOS really should fix the issue as well for people who like those flaps). This also happens on the Mages Guild costumes in the Crown store, but they get a bonus clipping issue with the shoulder piece which clips a lot when my character moves his arms in any way.

Also the front and back flaps look pretty silly on my heavily-armored Altmer, they look very painful when she rides her horse in particular! This is on the Altmer style, she gets a metal loincloth for no reason in them. I usually keep her in her guild tabard to cover it up since that's a soft material.

As for the shoulders thing, my Redguard has quite muscular shoulders and his medium Redguard-style shoulder cops still look like they're levitating most of the time. When he swims they look like they detach completely from the armor and go flying. His arms also clip through the medium Redguard side flaps when he's standing still, and these side flaps are probably one of the worst I've seen in the game for floating as they barely look attached at any time and seem to defy gravity.

OHMYGOD those ugly hip flaps can get taken off?!

They are so horrendous. They seem to be able to fly even! Just floating in mid air next to your leg. And the way they move when your char runs looks so broken.

Now I'm actually wondering why they ever made them in the first place!

Because that person's armour looks like an all in one catsuit or a onesie?

Onesie? Hmm ... not really. I mean, there's clearly a belt area, even if the NPC isn't wearing a belt or sash.

It still looks painted on,or like a Onesie because there is nothing other than material hugging the shape.
