They are so horrendous. They seem to be able to fly even! Just floating in mid air next to your leg. And the way they move when your char runs looks so broken.
Now I'm actually wondering why they ever made them in the first place!

Because that person's armour looks like an all in one catsuit or a onesie?

Really?
The tops are usually the ones with the flappy bits attached though :S
Completed: Ask the Wood Elf for help.
Did you ask for her clothes?

Sorry, had to edit my response. I just tried it on a character and the tassets showed up when using a leather top. So yeah, she is in "custom" armor.

Wow, I just checked on ESO Fashion and you're right. You get an awesome for pointing that out!
I've never been a fan of Bosmer armor, until now.
(Sorry, but I still think the flaps need to be a toggle ....)
Thank you very much @CaptainObvious!

and speaking of belts, I'd really like to see a whole belt not just a buckle when you equip one while not wearing a top. though I suppose different belts might conflict with different tops, but still....The tassets really should be part of the BELT and not the pants.
This would make me so happy.
Oh and please please could we have an option for skirts or breeches just like we have the option for robes or jerkins?
I don't know. Like this it looks like that character doesn't have any gear/clothes/whatever at all, just painted body. That's not so cool if you ask me. They clearly didn't do very good job in this area and tried to camouflage it with hip flaps and such stuff.
That being said, they get better and the newer styles are much better already.

While I am generally a fan of the flaps, I don't like them on every armor for every character, on some it suits their style, on others it doesn't. Personally I'd love the Primal robes if they didn't have those huge floating bone things on the hips that look like they're going to stab you in the thigh if you sit down. I'd definitely be pleased with a toggle option.and speaking of belts, I'd really like to see a whole belt not just a buckle when you equip one while not wearing a top. though I suppose different belts might conflict with different tops, but still....The tassets really should be part of the BELT and not the pants.

You have NO idea how annoying I find it that belts are JUST the buckle. They should be BELTS... and while we're at it... they should include the tassets (hip, groin, & butt flaps)
They just need to acknowledge how atrocious they look, and fix them. We don't need toggles for everything....

And then the belts should have a hide toggle option
