No, just no. If so, the wolf would have to be overgrown and it would look simply bad. Unrealistic.

Pets yes, mounts no :P
Please no. overgrown dog/wolf with a person on it sounds like something for somewhere (I can name a few) but not something for or from here.

I guess none of you has ever watched Game of Thrones. The Dire Wolfs are at least to the same scale as current Senche mounts. Do you have objections to all the tiger, leopard, jaguar, panther and lion mounts? Not WoW? Never played it, but we have Frostmares, Nightmares, and Zombiemares. A little late to worry about comparisons to other games.

Wow, this suggestion never seems to die, just like flying mounts and dragons...
Lore wise, the senche-raht breed of khajiit was huge, used for mounts and carrying extremely heavy loads. I guess the senche are nothing like the big cats in our world.Callous2208 wrote: »I really don't agree with wolf mounts or the current senche ones for that matter. More from a bone structure standpoint. Carnivores don't have the spine for carrying that sort of weight on their backs. We could go on and on about some other reasons why it just doesn't work but I realize in the end its all just fantasy so these factors really don't matter. I do not believe a dire wolf mount fits with the lore very well either but alas, neither do frosty, flaming, zombie horses.

This is true. Idk, I guess I don't mind bending the rules as long as lore supports it. I just dislike seeing lore completely ignored for the sake of, "oooo that looks cool. " Even if dire wolves exist in the eso universe, I doubt there's anything supporting they can be tamed or ridden as mounts. Also, I doubt there numbers are so great as to support the idea that they are readily available for that purpose.
