End Game Stamina Nightblade Build- PvE DPS (Updated for Clockwork City)

In a previous post of mine, I discouraged myself from doing pvp in order to get vigor and caltrops. I am happy to say that not only did I enjoy pvping, but I also managed to rank up assault. Just yesterday I morphed my caltrops into razor caltrops (its really fast! just do any quest and when you turn in, make sure you have caltrops on your bar when you turn in )

Hmm, my buddy and I are running far away from optimal gear atm for the sake of testing Stamblade (purple gear and useless bonuses) and its actually very very powerful. I need to test different setups before I could upgrade the best into legendary.

Currently we both are doing 40k+ on most dungeon bosses even tho most of our skills are not even leveled . Its insane how good Stamblade is now. Also I just ran Maw and managed 38k on Rakkhat before I needed to get my orb and die in a *** purple gear (weapons are legendary though)

If I'm not a top notch PvPer, but just like to go in Cyrodill or sewers for a while to break the routine, but want to be of some use and don't want to get hammered all the time, what skills would you change ?
Since would be just a spare time activity, wouldn't be worthy massive changes in gear or CP.

Any suggestions here, maybe add ambush, mass hysteria or cloak, etc?

Currently running 5xTBS 5xAlkosh and Maelstrom weapons, all traits divines in full medium and all stamina enchants. Its still not optimal yet since I'm most likely dropping Alkosh

@bsupino I don't know what Gilliam runs for pvp, but as a stamblade, I'd suggest ditching dw and going 2h maul and bow for better survivability and armor penetration, 2 critically important things in pvp. On 2h bar, I use rally, ambush, surprise attack, mass hysteria, and killer's blade (I pick this over executioner because it now does disease damage which scales with our cp setup, can grant major defile, is cheaper than executioner, and heals on kill). On bow bar, I use relentless focus, poison injection, shuffle, shadowy disguise, and resolving vigor.

Only good for single target, it has no multi target DPS potential, as it only procs on 1 mob every 4 seconds. Unless you're trying to get a bloodspawn parse to impress your friends, don't bother.

I find the optimal DPS builds so...irritating for Stamina these days. It's never interesting skills. Rearming Trap...Caltrops..Steel Tornado...

It's always disappointing how interesting "theme" builds don't work, it's just a hodge-podge of uninteresting bland skills thrown together to make some abomination of a rotation.

I guess I like magicka builds better these days because "Fire Mage" and "Lightning Wizard" are a real thing, and optimal too with many themed abilities for a cohesive character.

I love my Molag helmet and refuse to give it up, is NMG and Hundings still the best fit if I am wanting to keep the rest crafted sets?

I'm running:

Steel Tornado, Rearming Trap, Killers Blade, Surprise Attack, Relentless Focus, Resolving Vigor, Poison Injection, Endless Hail, Razor Caltrops, and Siphoning Attacks.

This is ridiculouse, Deltia and Gilliam know each other very well, I'm sure he is aware. Plus those bars are no-brainers, only real choice there is about ult allocation which in fact, Gilliam's build right here suggest different ones.

I appreciate looking out for me but Deltia and I are very close friends, we work on a lot of testing together and play almost daily. He often quotes or references me in many of his guides and videos about the more mathematical or end game perspectives in build/gear/ability choices, which I greatly appreciate. We both only wish to help the community be able to understand and enjoy the game better, so that the game may remain robust and exciting.

@Gilliamtherogue First let me say thanks for an awesome guide. I recently returned to the game a month or so ago and I’m trying to get caught up on everything I’ve missed. This is slightly off topic so if you cant or don’t want to answer I will understand but with the patch being pretty new current info is kind of light for bow builds. Basically how could I change this build to focus on the bow/ranged as the main source of damage. I know the DPS won’t be as high but I’m ok with that for now. Do the same sets work with bow being the source of damage and what changes to the CP trees would u make. Thanks.

I run 5 Syvarra's 5 Morag and Maelstrom bows when I tried out bow and it did already. Around 32k DPS single target but really great AoE damage assuming you can sustain the stamina drain (the ability costs are massive now). It only really excels at vMoL trash since many of them (ogres) are weak to poison damage, but I've had 80k+ sustained AoE parses there with those pulls. The lack of mobility, versatility, and overall damage really makes it lack luster, not to mention really boring.

Fantastic AoE, really weak single target. I've found some nice uses for the set, including the damage reduction in trials you get from elites.

I have 1 maelstrom dagger sharpened but don't have another dagger or axe, should I still use it with like a master dagger or just use a different pair for set bonus?

If you can activate another set bonus in the mean time do that, but definitely try and get another mael wep soon. That 50% proc rate is really unreliable.
