Like Skyrim.
If others bother you so much, play and let play.
With an offline mode, ZOS may as well release single player games for the different factions.
And I'm compelled to agree that plenty of gamers will cheat.
Talking about silver/gold, im doing gold and dc feels empty tbh apart from the odd person, is it two different worlds for vets/non vets?
How about this analogy; you opened some can of worms! Just by asking this question you have unleashed the wrath of the ESO forum monsters on you
Unfortunately it's something that has to be built into the game from the get-go, otherwise it would ruin and break a lot. It's an MMO though, and there are a lot of places you can do solo questing (Silver/Gold) or just play at off-peak times.

I never said other people bother me lol. It was a nice idea to have the option (dont think you can cheat on consoles)

your ps plus lapses for a few days, or a problem with the internet etc

I've always thought that maybe just the 1-50 and main storyline could be done offline while anything else (veteran, Champion, and group content) would absolutely require connection. There are times I have to go out of town and hotel wireless isn't always reliable, I'd enjoy being able to level an alt while I am away.
probably going to get majorly trolled,
but i actually have been thinking about this more and more, makes sense to me lol
In theory it would be nice, in reality impossible. The exploiting that would occur (mat farming, xp farming, gear farming) would ruin the game

As for myself I would also love it more elements would be more client based instead of both. That way perhaps the performance on lower end systems will get some massive improvements.
Also another interesting element would be the ability to switch off the players. Just go on a server where you're all alone. So you can enjoy the solo content all by yourself.
And for the MMO-ngers. Would be interesting several servers where you can play on different difficulty settings / teams.
An offline mode means everything has to be client-side. If everything is client-side then people can create hacks that give them unlimited gold tempers, VR16 gold Warlock jewelry, etc.
