Don't nerf Wrecking blow, but please fix it

    agree with that but it s not only about lagg. wrecking blow for instance hits farther away than the blade we actually see

    ok, we know it, we deal with it. but given the combat system we have it would be good to be able to trust what we see, and not wonder if projectile is going to go through the rock we re hiding behind etc. as an occasional WB user i d be totally fine with decreased range

    Lol this is ridiculous. Logged on to nonvet early in the morning, zero lag, and more 15 meter wrecking blows at a resource fight. This is a god damn joke. @ZOS_GinaBruno can you please get this looked into?

    I only dislike that some people are very good in animation cancelling then they keep WBíng and stunning.

    If animation cancelling was non existent I believe 66.6% of the skill problems are solved.

It might not be the game that's the problem. They only have a 22 meter gap closer. Try staying somewhere between 23 and 36 meters away and nuking them with spells. That works well, trust me.

    Although some people are straying from topic and turning this into a nerf thread, I don't think that is the genuine intent. @Alucardo is right. The Skill has some broken machanics. The biggest issue for me tho isn't even necessarily the skill as much as it is broken CC immunity in general. CC immunity does not work...period. You can get WB'd and tossed like a rag doll and as soon as you are standing back up get knock-back/tossed again. CC immunity should not let that happen.

    I have no issue with the damage of the skill, or even the empowering effect. I just hate the broken CC immunity. That is not a WB issue alone. Lots of skills benefit from broken CC immunity. Should be a priority fix for the devs, but this has been an issue for quite a while.

    Please calm down a bit as any good player knows many Stam builds have few choices other than WB as a primary DD skill. We all see its value and its utility. No decent, unbiased player is wanting the skill taken away from Stam DDs. The 'how to pvp tutorial' is a bit circumvent in this thread.

    I'm ok with it being able to chop down small trees and other small structures but it shouldn't still have the juice to thwack me a good 10 yards down the pitch.

    Everyone I see that use WB on PvP get targeted and insta killed.

    The only annoying thing about WB to me personally is the cc break sometimes feels broken in PVE and when soloing it can mean the difference between dying and smiling.

    I wish the cc break would work slightly faster if your stamina can afford it.

    One day the 2H will lose it's throne to the dual wield.

    The range u mentioned mostly comes from the animation skipping.

    U cast wb and click left mouse twice as fast as you can. U can now go anywhere u wanna go or spam another skill or even a new wb... the one u casted first will arrive at his enemies face a second later whilst u double hit him. U can also turn around and dance and the wb will still arrive at his target.
    The enemy also cant block it since there is no animation... how would he now there is a wb engaging him at what moment exactly.

    i think the range can bug out when the animation has reached a certain point (the point people tend to weave a heavy in there). And at that point its considered you successfully hit no matter what occurs subsequent to that. Giving a few milliseconds between that and hit occuring /animation finishing, coupled with lag... It makes for some confusing WTH moments

    Ever seen a guy hit with WB mid streak? funny, but pretty broken "dat range". The debate isnt is WB too powerful. As that's been done to death. Its a simple statement, can we get the skill working correctly as per tooltip please.

    same with frags too be fair and most cast abilities it appears to me The animation continues a fraction after the point of the game decides its a successful hit (or this is what i guess is occurring in the program). This can lead to some huge hard cast frag range if the guy is already pegging it, though its more exaggerated because of travel time.

    I'm not opposed to a range reduction with WB, only because the target area is buggy after a certain point in the animation. I've hit and have been hit at range with WB. Not a ridiculous range but well beyond 7 meters. The cast time might seem long and easily countered by a simple walk-through, but the time it takes to walk through a player to break targeting is almost only viable at around 5 meters. Even then given how targeting WB targets, if your not directly behind the casters target you'll still get hit.

    Making WB susceptible to bash is a great idea if range reduction doesn't savvy. However, I would also suggest that with a 5 meter WB range it would make sense to increase the range of Executioner to 7 meters. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a targeting issue with the skill that allows for a buggy reach at times.

    This certainly doesn't help. WB isn't too bad on its own, but when you've got 2 or more people crit rushing and WBing you with faulty mechanics it's a real pain to deal with.

    I don't think anyone has ever died from Teleport Strike though. WB does a lot more damage.

    I think it's pretty telling that the guy didn't even bother to get it to IV before determining that it didn't work. It seems to work pretty well for most people who use it.

    Animation cancelling is working as intended remember. (Because they can't fix it.)

    yes, but you can animation cancel it to maybe at least a half of that time, WB block, WB weapon swap,....

    It fun when people still defend an obviously broken skill, it's like saying reverberating bash isn't broken.

    It should be a channeled skill like jabs and not auto aim. People should have to actually be looking at the person.

    The range should be dropped to 5m and not be buggy as it is it.

    It shouldn't empower itself.

    Keep the cc but fix it.
