I feel the same way about carrots as I do about broccoli, but to a lesser extent. I tend to use carrots in my cooking more often than broccoli, though, because they're kind of a key element in mirepoix, which is such a universally useful base for cooking...RAGUNAnoOne wrote: »

Maybe people started caring about their health and what they choose to eat more now? idk... Chicken and broccoli ... chicken... and broccoli... and rice. In the mornings egg and egg whites with turkey bacon and low fat/fat free cheese... with one cheat day... super cheap too. ofcourse i have 1 cheat day each week tho...protein is what makes you feel full...
It isnt as bad as it sounds but still like the way i look... then again i kinda have to eat and exersice its a part of my job. Excuses for not eating right or working out is kinda going away. Most people i know meal prep for 3 days... it takes about less than 2 hours to do it. Its easy.
I don't ever plan what I eat based on what's healthy, but I usually eat things that are relatively healthy because they can taste damn good if you do them right. Also I love to cook, so when you're cooking things yourself you can make them taste great - even if they're pretty healthy.

I usually have prepared containers of mirepoix in the fridge without knowing what I'm going to use it for, and then when i decide on something to make I'm just ready to go with no prep work to do.
