No one has done that, I can attest. But we live in a world behind monitors. People will easily fool each other for their own reasons. I have been surfing the web since Gopher was a thing and you could literally count the amount of websites that were out there. Plus I'm not so gullible so whatever people said online I had more reason to believe their accounts, what they said, to be more false than that in person if I did not know them.
