Why do you guys never consider a rollback?

Why do you guys never consider a rollback?
Because every player out there that logged in after the original patch would lose whatever progress, items, gold, etc, that they had acquired during the time between patch and rollback. Can you imagine the screamin' and cryin'?!?!?

Correct. But at least throw a pre-lighting patch version on the pts and go from there.

I'm not sure if you're aware of what a rollback indicates.
Based on the contents in this game, simply rolling back a few patches might make elements break. It seems the entire game is one custom effort.

What about willows path, or rather sets increasing stats in general, and champion passives not working as intended and basically ignoring drink buffs?
You said the same back then.. Like 18 weeks ago.
We all know PVP is in a bad state. I see thread after thread about broken mechanics, abilities, sets, and buffs. I see comment after comment with suggestions or opinions on what to change or fix. I work as a software developer for Microsoft projects. My company accepts contracts and if I work on that team I see the project from start to finish including the QA process. We have certain expectations from our software quality to our testing. I've worked on simple projects like configuring IIS servers to working on the Bing engine. I take pride in my work and if it is a big project I listen to the input and suggestions of my team.
Now, there's a huge difference between working on a Bing project and working on an MMO. However, the overall picture is still the same. You write quality software, you test your software the best you can as a developer, you merge your changes into a test environment or an internal game server they have running, and QA takes over from there to make sure the changes are bug free.
I really enjoyed the game. I played the alpha version, I was invited to early beta and played almost every beta available, and I played a ton the first 6 months until the lag was just unplayable. I come back to this game over and over like an abusive relationship because I keep telling myself that they'll eventually fix the major issues (and lag) and when they do this game will be great. I can't continue to believe the lies and here recently on Azura the lag/low frames/load screens/etc are weighing down on me more and more.
I'm taking a step back from PVP (maybe once a week I'll PVP) and I hope they eventually get these major issues fixed.
I can't leave without at least saying... It is obviously going to take a lot of resources to figure out the lag/fps issues, but if I were in there shoes I would definitely spend the money for high dollar developers on contract to branch the current system and work on these issues. I mean..We'll give away a million dollars to a lucky player but we won't spend a dime on a team who has experience with these issues.

It is pretty brutal - all you had to do to figure out this was broken was actually log into the game.
No special actions needed - just login.

since you are working in this Sektor, you may know, sometimes Problems occure wich cant be fixed.
I guess Zos know exactly where the root error is, but are simplay not able to fix it cause of Technical Limitations or wathever and try to make a Workaround to make it Overall better.

Actually no, no I haven't. I work with web based applications which is completely different, but I've never had a major issue and not resolve it. This "issue" the lag/fps issue is game breaking. It would be like the Bing search only returning searches 2 minutes after you hit the search button. There wouldn't be any Bing users if that were the case.

The more I think about it and the more I believe that Zenimax lacks testers playing their game on a regular basis. It might be just speculations but it is what it is and the fact that they tend to break other things when they fix something prouve that they somehow skip important steps on the testing server.

My theory here is that the code is a total mess and undocumented. Plus whoever is responsible for that no longer works for ZOS. That's the only thing I can think off why sometimes completely unrelated things break.

Edit* Also I can't confirm yet, but I'm pretty sure load screens got messed up again. Last night our load screens were anywhere between normal and 1 minute, and either the load screens were longer than the safety net you get after loading into the sewer, or we weren't getting them period.
It is pretty brutal - all you had to do to figure out this was broken was actually log into the game.

I was wondering last night why I had lost over 1000 hitpoints. I was checking my gear for broken pieces and wondering WTF I was doing wrong. It completely slipped my mind that it was patch day....I should have known.
I rage quit after playing after about an hour when my 6th or 7th death was caused by the can't use my left click need to /reloadui in the middle of combat bug. It seems worse than ever...
I am so done with this crap. I'm going to play some other games and hopefully ZoS can get their house in order.
What other games you play?
I have a possible reason for this. Might be easy to test too. There was a patch awhile back where camo hunter would agro everything in a room. It was eventually fixed, but since they messed with it again, maybe that agro bug is back.
Just go to the sewers clear one side of the larger rooms. Then pop camo hunter and see if the other side agros. If it does, then that's maybe the reason. I could walk straight into the second room from DC spawn, clear the 2 melee deadra, pop camo hunter and the entire rest of the room from the left would charge straight at me. It was baffling till I went back, didn't use CH, and the mobs remained in place as they should have. Stuff was agroing thru walls too. It was stupid.
